Flag Event rules and specifications
- The normal Linebattle format for this event will be exchanged in favor of a "Flag location instant respawn" format every first Monday of the month.
- In this format, regiments will be assigned a special unit which they have to play throughout the event.
- Server scripts will allow units with a flag bearer to respawn their dead members after a short interval at the location of their flag, in exchange for tickets.
- Different classes will "cost" more tickets than others upon respawning; the exact costs might vary from event to event. Generally, Line Infantry will cost 1, Cavalry might cost between 2-4, Rifles might cost between 2-4, and artillery (all sub-classes) will cost 5 tickets each.
- In general, all rules will be the same as tho it were a normal Linebattle Event. So no FiC, RiC, Ramboing etc. There will have to be some additional rules though:
- No shooting into, or out of the spawn areas.
- Artillery may not be deployed within the spawn areas.
- Absolutely no entering building, climbing roofs, etc.
- Crouching behind covers is forbidden for all classes.
- Cavalry shouldn't harass the spawns too much. Short maneuvers near the spawn are okay, though.
- Cannon limits are to be watched at all times.
- Artillery guard must also choose the artillery guard class, for the sake of the server skripts.
- Usefull "commands" for players:
- Medics and sappers may press "B" to change their spawn location, each B press rotates one unit down the roster, meaning they can technically respawn at every allied flag. Only units with flags can be chosen. Pressing V resets to normal spawn at spawn.
- Officers may press "V" to display all the people who use their class (flag bearers are especially marked), this helps to identify people from other regiments who took their class and are preventing you from respawning.
These are the rules and specifications for out new regular flag respawn event that we have every first Monday of the month.
Enjoy!
