The Battle of Preußisch Eylau was a military confrontation between the Russian army commanded by Levin von Bennigsen and the French Grande Armée commanded by Napoléon Bonaparte in 1807. It lasted from February 7 to 9 and resulted in heavy casualties no clear result on either side.
