"Requesting Key..." Bug

Hello, for the past few days I've had a problem where whenever I try and start up Mount & Blade: Warband, I get this popup (instead of the usual one that has 2 CD Keys, one for Native and one for NW). I've tried verifying my game cache and looking in the Regedit for the key, but it seems to have been completely wiped from existence. It's been a real pain as I have to run a Regiment but can't actually be ingame which obviously makes things very difficult.


Hopefully someone can help, cheers.

I know this is the worst thing that you would want to hear, but you'll have to submit a support ticket to Steam Support. Although they take forever to respond, they will resolve the problem. This happened to a friend of mine and Steam was actually helpful would you believe it.

I ended up being too impatient for Steam Support (3 days and I've only had an automated response); pretty terrible service if you ask me (they should have a call centre!) Anyway I ended up buying the game again on the sale so I guess it's problem solved(ish).
