Map editing help

I have a question.

I am planning to make a naval map as I have everything set up except for the boats.

When I place the boats mm_boat (I believe thats what its called) I can't steer them, there is no rudder. How do I make them usable?

Type 1 into the first variable box.

I put 1 in var 1 but no rudder.
