Why did you choose your name?
« on: October 15, 2013, 06:49:32 pm »
So basically I was recruited into a regiment before I even got the game, I needed a name quickly and all I could think of that was of the time period was Hornblower or Sharpe, I chose Sharpe and have stayed in the same regiment so everyone knows me as Sharpe and it would be almost impossible to change it now.

Why do you have the name you have?

My name comes from my gamertag I use on xbox, couldn't think of a name so I just used the designer of a helicopter I loved and ran with it.

For my actual ingame tag for NW I just looked for a scot lowlander surname and used that.

My first game I ever got for any computer was Call Of Duty 2 for my family's mac when I was like 6-8, (I can't exactly remember) but basically when choosing my name I tried to spell my real name "Walker" however i added an O of the K, spelling Walkoer, I kinda thought that it looked cool so I shortened it to Walko.

I had used multiple names while pubbing. Tavington then recruited me and I didn't want to use any of the names that I had used before. I thought for a couple seconds and then was like ok: JackieChan. It stuck. :P

Is it weird that I always picture you as Jackie Chan with a headset on? :P

I made it up but I also like the meaning to it - Night beast, which is my own interpretation since Nox means night in latin and fur or fury means well that you have animal skin.

Just my IRL name, I've had afew names before, but being called them didn't feel right. I use Neil as often as I can due to its simplicity, but sometimes I'll use Roleplay names if they're neccesary, which are dependent on the game itself:P.
