For the auction a hard cap with English style auction rules is probably better than the single-bid blind entrance that was used last time. It’s much simpler and it’ll more effectively decide player pricing. Just gotta make sure that captains manage their cap effectively - use a mock draft to practice and make the pricing increases in smaller intervals - 1.2 mil for Theo, 1.3 mil for Theo, etc. Might take longer to draft that way but it would be a better way to do it
