Also, I see a distinct lack of big men in this list lmao

Very tough for mid-majors and smaller programs to recruit good big men. Most teams are relatively small. Vermont is a team I think could get hot and pull an upset but their biggest guy is like 6'8". Most of these teams that make runs get hot from three or have a very well run offense and solid team defense. I think Wyoming is the only team that could bully some down low but their matchup against Indiana is tough cause Trayce Jackson-Davis will be defending Graham Ike

Richmond, New Mexico State, and Murray State with great showings.

Teddy Allen really had a perfect performance to get New Mexico State to the next round.

Jacob Gilyard and Tyler Burton played their asses off. Especially Gilyard with hustling to every loose ball, making cuts, disrupting passing lanes, and hitting his shots.

KJ Williams did great throughout the game but Tevin Brown sealed the deal in OT against San Francisco. Jamaree Bouyea put on a show and did everything he could to win but came up short.

Ryan Davis and Ben Shungu on Vermont put up a good fight and had solid games as well, especially from Davis. Tough matchup against Arkansas though.

Yeah our best scorer got a concussion over a month ago and shut down his whole season for some reason. Kevin Willard our coach has been one of the top candidates all year especially for Maryland and it looked like he checked out and so did our team. It was a pathetic showing. He hasn’t ran an even average offense since he’s been here. He’s always had players like Isaiah Whitehead, Angel Delgado, and Myles Powell to bail out his awful sets and lack of motion. Glad he’s likely gone. We are gonna hire Shaheen Holloway the coach at Saint Peters. Used to be assistant head coach and a former star here.

Not to discredit Kevin Willard. He turned the entire program around and made Seton Hall relevant again. Great recruiter and player development guy. He hit his ceiling here. Time for both sides to move on.
