The Monday Trench Event

Information: So as many of you know, the community is a bit divided over 4thGren Monday Event, and linebattles are getting a bit old, So I wanted to create an outlet for a new event, while also keeping Monday as alive as possible.  Let me preface this by saying I don't care how many people show up to this event, as long as one other regiment comes to this event I will continue to host it.  Should this event get popular, I will upgrade the size of the server to adjust to the amount of people.  Info will be handed out at 7:45pm est approximately, and I will accept any custom trench maps people send to me.  The first event will be Monday the 24th while I continue to iron out the rules, get admins, and maps.  Once specialties are in, sign up on sunday 7pm est on this forum.  Gamemode will be battle, but if regiments post on this forum that they want different gamemodes, then Capture the Flag is a viable option.  Event info ts: 199.60.101.245:10326

Rules: In the area between spawn and the first trench, people must stay in standard line formation.  Inside the trench, regiments may spread their men out by 3 man spacing.  FOC will be allowed in the trench to simulate actual WW1 trench combat, but ROC is slayable.  Regiments may also split themselves into groups in order to cover the whole trench line.  Inside the tunnels, 3 man spacing is allowed with a minimum of 3 people inside, and FOC will be allowed.  Inside no mans land, minimum of 3 people with a maximum spacing of 5.  FOC will be allowed in no mans land, but if 5 man spacing is breached, admins will slay for FOL, ROL, and ROC.  Buildings will have general garrison rules, and ruins inside no mans land have the applied no mans land rules.  If your regiment has 5-9 people you may attach 1 skirmisher.  If your regiment has 10 or more, you may have 2 skirmishers.  As the event grows, artillery specialties will be allowed, but for now we are sticking to line and attached skirmishers.  *Rules are subject to change or additions as the event continues*

After talking to the Mods about the BB vs Anime Team issue I will make it a 16-0 Forfeit win for Yoshie. Due to BB not making it Saturday and him scheduling like a tard during the week I rather not give out another extension for 3 weeks straight. .Exe & Aces will be a 0-0 Tie since we scheduled for Saturday and neither team showed up.

Stryker said it was scheduled for Sunday at 10est. After the NA vs 40th match, Sanders, copot, stryker and myself were all sitting around waiting to play for 30+ minutes because we were told Sunday. Then Copot messaged yoshie and he said he wasn't doing it. Unless Stryker lied, how is that a forfeit for us

From what I have seen the match was originally scheduled for Saturday but Stryker's team did not have enough people to play. Instead of taking the forfeit then and there (btw Stryker said he "didn't care anymore") Yoshie wanted to see if it could happen Sunday. A time was never actually scheduled on Sunday it was just if people were on. You guys had four when we didn't, and then when I got home at 10:36 EST Stryker told Yoshie his guys had already gotten off, though I'm pretty sure you, Stryker, Rever and Sanders were all on still; Copot was also in TS when I got home so idk.

Correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t u supposed to schedule matches on fse? If that never happened then having 4 people on on Sunday when the matches are due should over rule having 4 people on Saturday. Regardless it’s dumb to set deadlines and not give extensions if you can’t be bothered to follow your own instructions when scheduling matches, especially if you didn’t take the forfeit you can’t go back and retroactively take the forfeit. Instead you decided to continue and try to get the match today which you couldn’t gather enough people for. After getting on well past 10 (a time deemed too late by you and RussianFury) you a moderator I assume contributed to the decision to invoke a forfeit.

Yoshie asked Sunday 10pm est on Saturday, I said we had to get it done by that day, essentially agreeing to the match because the deadline was coming up and I had no other choice.  The irl 1v1 dragged on past 10 pm est, and I asked Yoshie if we were still doing it.  Yoshie said lets get a verdict from the irl match first, and so we had to wait for Glenn.  During that time I asked what server we were using for the 4v4.  In my eyes the match was confirmed still going to happen, so I told my guys to hop on and get ready.  Then it dragged cause we had to wait for glenn to hop on ts.  The difference between yesterday and saturday is that I called it off before the 10pm mark because I didn't have enough (I sent my first message about not being able to do it Saturday at 9:51 pm est).  This dragged past the time. https://gyazo.com/b343e2a679b768adf8fa8c85d48bb796  I just wanted to get the damn match scheduled after we couldnt do it Wednesday.
