It is with great regret that I announce the disbanding of the 1stFG. It was a very fun 5 months but with BCoF on the way it has been decided that with many members intending to focus more on that, we should merge the companies into a Line + Arty only regiment and return to competitive NW for a few events a week. So once more the 18e will be returning to be the NW competitive community, with the 18th Volunteer Infantry being our BCoF side.

Thanks to everyone in the 1stFG for a good fun time, this was always expected eventually but the idea was to bring a new group of people together who still somewhat enjoy NW events and we succeeded with this. Hopefully we can keep the BCoF/NW mix of events going for another 5+ months!

A great showing to the 1stFG and their fellow teammates in this week's Line Only event! (hosted by yours truly of course)
All regiments in the event performed well and there were plenty of laughs to be had when the 1stFG cosplayed at the vietcong in a wheat field.

A few of our rankers received promotions after today's event, including a rather big promotion to Lance Corporal! Please congratulate those below for their service!

After our first full month of activity we are happy to report things are looking great. On Sunday we had 30+ 1stFG members and a few extra friends come along as well as a strong 24 people yesterday for our 1stFG Monday Line only.

However now we bid farewell for the Christmas break. 1stFG will be returning on January 3rd.

Unfortunately as we have been struggling to secure events for the Lights, we have decided to suspend the Light company for the time being. However we have kept 1 day free for all companies where we still have a lights slot and will continue to show up with whoever wants to play as a more chill event. It was either this or the line would have to attend 4+ public linebattles a week which was never going to happen.

They are still sticking around and playing with the other companies but won't be listed separately.

Both our cavalry and light company had events tonight and performed exceptionally well during multiple rounds! Thank you lads for coming out and thank you to the 78th for hosting!
We hope to see the event's attendance increase in the weeks to come for a better all-around experience.
