NA 2v2 Summer Cup
Welcome to the NA 2v2 Summer Cup! This is going to be a Semi-Competiative League to spice up the community! Were just here to have some fun battles!
Rules:
1. No FoC,FoL,RoL
2. Pistols may shoot in melee but can not reload
3. 2 Minute Hill Camp Timer
4. No Mercenaries
5. No Playing for more than one regiment
6. If 20 man minimum is reached on either team a 2 man balance rule goes into effect. ie FRA brings 21 UK can only field 23.
7. No Musket/Sword Dropping
8. 1 Officer per Regiment with 10 or less people. If you have 11 or more, you may field 2 officers.
9. No Man Spacing, if you are in a fire fight you do not need to fill in gaps.
10. Need 3 People in Line to fire
11. Must play line infantry
12. If you have 3 or less people in your line, you must charge or join a friendly line
13. OA will result in a revive, admin can choose to slay. NO resets.
14. Max 3 Man Spacing while moving
15. If one person in a line is in melee the whole line is considered in melee and can not fire. Firing while a man is in melee will result in a slay.
16. When charging your regiment must stay together. If a regiment has clearly disengaged from a melee while your regiment is still in melee with another group, players can not pursue the disengaged line until the current melee is done. Pursuing a disengaged line while the majority of your regiment is already in melee will be considered Rambo.
Roster Rules:
-In order to cut down on regiments having mercs Rosters/Lineups must be submitted by the deadline on Sunday. Make sure that every member on your roster plays with the same name in-game. ***Admins reserve the right to kick a player not on the roster playing in-game!!!***
-Dropping/Adding Players: If a regiment wishes to add/drop a player from their roster, they must notify [8e]Hand of the change. For an added player to be eligible for that week's battle the roster change must be submitted the day before your battle at 12PM EST. If a player is added after that, they may be barred from play in that weeks match depending on the circumstance.
- A GUID of a player may be requested by [8e]Hand
Switching/Trading to another Regiment:
-Players existing on a regiments roster may only switch/ be traded to another regiment 1 time in the league. This is to prevent mass trades to whatever team is doing the best.
2v2 Format:
-Play on medium random map agreed by all regiments. Do a total of eight rounds switching teams after round 4.
-Round is not live until 15 seconds in to give time for balancing, regiments must stay in spawn until Admin declares the round live
Ranking Format:
- Ranks will updated every Sunday. The order of the ranks is first determined by win-loss- tie records and seconds by how many rounds each regiment has won. (10 Points per Round won)
- Ranks will be individual as teams will be shuffled every battle.
Scheduling Format:
- Match Ups will be posted every Monday
-One battle per week
- Teams will be shuffled every battle, you may fight a particular regiment more than once but you will not be teamed with the same regiment more than one time during pool play.
- Events will be aimed to take just under 1 hour long
- Event times will be able to be scheduled by regiments participating in that match, if a time is unable to be agreed upon a time will be set by the head admin.
Cup Calender:
Week 1-6: Pool Play (June 25-August 2)
Week 7: NA 2v2 Summer Cup Tournament (August 5-8)
Team-Ups Rules
During Pool Play: Teams will be made by [8e]Hand and other league admins during league play. Every battle will have you paired up with a team you have not played with before
During NA 2v2 Summer Cup Tournament: The tournament format and how to teams will be made are TBD.
