I'll discuss it with Stevens sometime this week but don't get your hopes up as we may not change it.
I won lots of things, I came 2nd and 3rd in lots of things, I guess I did some other shit too........ I'm also an FSE legend, probably most commonly described as a cunt. If the shit I do doesn't make sense in your head, well fuck you because it makes sense in mine.

Which i did, against known and reputed player, some of them considered legend, such as, Mandarin, Ledger, Tiberias, Herishey, Hokej, Troister, Axiom, Evanovic, Stark, Eddie, Jammo, Bagins, Freddie, Python. I didn't had a good relationship with most of them, but i congratulate them for what they did, and i had pleasure facing them.

No ffs, no loser bracket. We all fight on the same terms. Two large groups could be interesting with more matches but the Idea of having a Team X surfing through an easier lower skill or loser bracket all the way to the QF or SF where they get smashed is bloody retarded.
I think besides Rebel we're all proposing just a separate spin-off of the group stages for the losing teams, in no way related to the actual playoffs that would determine the champion. Don't really see how you can be opposed to this as it changes nothing besides adding more work to the organisers and maybe frequenting the NWWC servers a bit more for conflicting match-times.

I don't think it should offer free passage, but be separate entirely, a sort of tourny between the not so stacked nations.

If we will have 16 teams we can make swiss format. It's better then loser barkets and give more chance for all teams to get in playoffs

How can you be opposed to something that will literally not impact all the expected finalists in any way?

It would run separately from the main tourney so wouldn't affect any teams in the other bracket.
Knightmare is from Albania, no?
Sorry, I can't accept this team.

I do not oppose "a separate spin-off of the group stages for the losing teams, in no way related to the actual playoffs". Not all all.

Well ofc then I agree with you bud. Something should have been implemented ages ago imo. Smaller format maybe 6v6 or something and an A group(fighting for the medals) and a B group, worst A teams get relegated while the best B teams gets promoted etc, smaller format is logically bound to result in more nations aswell as reduce the advantaged large nations having a ton of skilled players to choose from when forming their team.

Swiss-system

A Swiss-system tournament is a non-eliminating tournament format which features a set number of rounds of competition, but considerably fewer than in a round-robin tournament. In a Swiss tournament, each competitor (team or individual) does not play every other. Competitors meet one-to-one in each round and are paired using a set of rules designed to ensure that each competitor plays opponents with a similar running score, but not the same opponent more than once. The winner is the competitor with the highest aggregate points earned in all rounds. All competitors play in each round unless there is an odd number of players.

Example (seed should be random)
Example:

Round 1:

team 1 vs team 8 = team 1 winner | team 8 loser
team 2 vs team 7 = team 2 winner | team 7 loser
team 3 vs team 6 = team 3 winner | team 6 loser
team 4 vs team 5 = team 4 winner | team 5 loser
team 9 vs team 10 = team 9 winner | team 10 loser
team 11 vs team 12 = team 11 winner | team 12 loser
team 14 vs team 13 = team 14 winner | team 13 loser
team 16 vs team 15 = team 16 winner | team 15 loser

Round 2:

1-0 teams playing each other

team 1 vs team 2 = team 1 winner | team 2 loser
team 3 vs team 4 = team 3 winner | team 4 loser
team 9 vs team 11 = team 9 winner | team 11 loser
team 14 vs team 16 = team 14 winner | team 16 loser

0-1 teams playing each other

team 8 vs team 7 = team 8 winner | team 7 loser
team 6 vs team 5 = team 6 winner | team 5 loser
team 10 vs team 12 = team 10 winner | team 12 loser
team 13 vs team 15 = team 13 winner | team 15 loser

Round 3:

2-0 teams playing each other (winners qualify in playoffs)

team 1 vs team 3 = team 1 winner (qualify) | team 3 loser
team 9 vs team 14 = team 9 winner (qualify) | team 14 loser

1-1 teams playing each other

team 2 vs team 8 = team 2 winner | team 8 loser
team 4 vs team 6 = team 4 winner | team 6 loser
team 11 vs team 10 = team 11 winner | team 10 loser
team 16 vs team 13 = team 16 winner | team 13 loser

0-2 teams playing each other (loser eliminated)

team 7 vs team 5 = team 7 winner | team 5 loser (eliminated)
team 12 vs team 15 = team 12 winner | team 15 loser (eliminated)

Round 4:

2-1 teams playing each other (winners qualify in playoffs)

team 3 vs team 14 = team 3 winner (qualify) | team 14 loser
team 2 vs team 4 = team 2 winner (qualify) | team 2 loser
team 11 vs team 16 = team 11 winner (qualify) | team 16 loser

1-2 teams playing each other (loser eliminated)

team 8 vs team 6 = team 8 winner | team 6 loser (eliminated)
team 10 vs team 13 = team 10 winner | team 13 loser (eliminated)
team 7 vs team 12 = team 7 winner | team 12 loser (eliminated)

Round 5:

2-2 teams playing each other (winners qualify in playoffs) (loser eliminated)

team 14 vs team 2 = team 14 winner (qualify) | team 2 loser (eliminated)
team 16 vs team 8 = team 16 winner (qualify) | team 8 loser (eliminated)
team 10 vs team 7 = team 10 winner (qualify) | team 7 loser (eliminated)

In total 33 matches per 8 teams group and much more chances for everyone to get in playoffs and show something.

The group stage would determine it. The advancing teams would go to the real bracket and fight for NWWC title, whilst the knocked out teams from groups will have their own bracket ending in a 'lower champion'.

Also Aleko I liked whole Ottoman Empire merge , why not  ;D . I only need my arnie boi (ledger) and slavic though .

Personally, Im up for it :p Yaniceries ran the empire anyway ;)

Apart from that, to further the discussion I would personally appreciate a system that would allow smaller teams to play against each other in one way or another. If that is not possible though, i am fully prepared and committed to get my buttocks annihilated by team France, Germany, UK and what not... Just get it going and decided :)

The group stage would determine it. The advancing teams would go to the real bracket and fight for NWWC title, whilst the knocked out teams from groups will have their own bracket ending in a 'lower champion'.

Oh ok, I thought you meant two completely separated tournaments. But you mean that just the playoffs are split. That seems like a good way to make the tourney fun for everyone.

Scandinavians can into Ottomans again https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varangian_Guard  ;D

Looking at MightyPain's profile it seems like he's Russian born living in Serbia. Explains his rather bad Serbian and his affinity to merging with Russia.
He's actually Croatian and Albanian nothing to do with Russia at all just using excuses to play with a team better than Yugoslavia quite clearly. but you don't need him, Croatia have formed a very decent team from the looks of your steam group

"Croatian and Albanian nothing to do with Russia at all just using excuses to play with a team better than Yugoslavia quite clearly." From his close friends Tegmark and others who've known him for years since cracked version just saying could be false but still Croatia have a nice team already let him do what he wants no point in arguing
