The French Republic will share the invention of hand grenades with Ethiopia. We shall also send over French military advisors, to help develop modern tactics and share the ideas of western warfare with Ethiopia.

The French Republic is confused by Sweden's decisions. They break their neutrality and mobilize, yet they disagree with the actions of Switzerland, who broke their neutrality and mobilized.

Sweden Agrees to the Non-Aggression Pact with Germany

The Kingdom of Belgium would like to ask the kingdoms of Denmark, Netherlands, Norway and Sweden, to open and establish a new research committee called "The Northern Intellectual Committee", or the NIC. This would help these nations and other small northern nations in Europe develop their technology.  Each year the noted council of professors and doctors (2 from each country that participates) would meet in a new location, to discuss science, politics and economy.

Also, the agreement would require said nations to sheath their swords, and re-announce neutrality, which Belgium intends to do. All the said nations would help each other in need, aka at times of war.

King Christian X of Denmark is overjoyed at this offer from Belgium we happily accept the invitation to the Research Committee and are happy to announce our Neutrality in the Great war going on in Europe and agree to the parts which require us to assist any other members of the pact in case someone declare war on them or their neutrality is violated in such a horrible way that military intervention is needed.

We also accept the offer of a Non-Aggression pact from Germany and hope our two nations will be able to peacefully co-exist in these troubled times.
We encourage the Kingdoms of The Netherlands,Norway and Sweden to accept the offer from Belgium.

We hope this Committee will help represent some of the neutral European nations national interests and usher Europe in a new age of peace!.

After much deliberation, Alfonso the King of Spain has decided to declare war on France. After many months talking
with the Central Powers, we have decided to join them in their cause. We also feel that Spain has a right to the control over Morocco,
and the surrounding Saharan land. We proceed with the following actions:

All French trade is halted throughout the country
TheFrench embassy will close, but diplomats may remain in the country in case negotiations are required.
All French shipping passing through the Strait of Gibraltar will be seized, with the crew whether civilian or not being treat as POW's

We warn Frances allies that a war with Spain will not be easy, and it is not advised to take part.

The Kingdom of Sweden and the Kingdom of Norway have agreed to begin the formation of a Union!
The Kingdom of Sweden joins N.I.C., agreeing to research and mutual assistance however abstaining from guarantee of neutrality.
The Kingdom of Sweden enters Partial Mobilization.
The Kingdom of Sweden has concluded a treaty of Non-Aggression with the Empire of Germany.

The Kingdom of Denmark joins N.I.C agreeing to all terms.
The Kingdom of Denmark concludes a treaty of Non-Aggression with the Empire of Germany.

The Empire of Japan enters an alliance with the Republic of France.

The Truce in the East nears expiration!

Border Troubles

An international incident has unfolded in the French-Swiss border. A Swiss Army Officer, returning from a trip to France via road, has been killed by unknown assailants! The Swiss Army Officer has been identified by passports and other documentation, including reports and analysis of French tactics and strategy. It is reported however, that the slain man was working in with the French Army as a passive Military Observer! Reported to be carrying many documents and ID's proving his nationality and work, the question is raised: Who killed this man!?

Many on both sides of the fences speculate that it was French border guard who fired upon the unarmed man. French and Swiss border troops confirm that armed men in French uniform stopped and fired upon the Swiss Officer, killing him in a hail of gunfire before disappearing into the darkness. Many speculate that it was an intentional act of French aggression, or even to maybe stop important documents from reaching the Swiss! Whatever the case may be, tensions between Switzerland and France, which have already been high, might finally reach their breaking point.

Important Events!

The truce in the Eastern Front has expired between the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Balkan States. However, rumors of negotiations between the two parties raises hopes of a possible peace in the East as well as a final resolution to the war. All await the final judgement.

The Portuguese Republic condemns the declaration of war on France by Spain! It will only get death closer to Iberia!

The Portuguese Republic goes to Partial Mobilisation in Portugal, Madeira and the Azores.
All mobilised soldiers will be stationed on the defences bordering Spain.

The Portuguese Republic requests France to find out who the murderers of the Swiss officer are, and asks the France and Switzerland to not excalate the conflict.

- A stop on all hostilites against France and starting of peace talks

The French Republic condemns the Spanish declaration of war. Your warmongering shall not be forgotten. When our troops march through your border, you shall know the full power of the French might!

The French Republic will use the money it has got from the grenades, to mass produces rifles and grenades, and put extensive research into naval superiority.

The French Republic thanks the UK for doing these actions. However, isn't the Strait of Gibraltar British land? Britain own Gibraltar, thus they should have access to the strait.

The French Republic is shocked by the Swiss actions. Not only can it not spell 'Third' correctly, its government declares war on a nation without proof. We shall smash you into the ground, Switzerland.

The French Republic will begin the Excessive Mobilization of the navy, as well as the army.

Einigkeit macht stark!

His Majesty, the King of Belgium, sends the offer to join the N.I.C to Luxembourg as well as to the Northern Neutrality Committee, or the newly formed name "N.N.C". His Majesty suggests that the newly formed N.I.C shall hold its first event in Brussels, exactly at 11 am of the 30th of January up until the 2nd of February at 11 pm. The year after, the event would be voted upon to where it shall be hosted next between the participating nations: Belgium again, Copenhagen in Denmark, or Stockholm in Sweden. Of course when new nations join the Committee, more locations will be opened for hosting the event.   

Belgium starts spreading more Jewish-friendly propaganda, depicting the glory of the nation, and not stomping the rights of any of the citizens.
