If you're not Scottish then it shouldn't matter to you. There's no point in that option.

It matters as much to the rest of the UK as it does to Scotland, but allowed the whole UK to vote would not be right. Although im pretty sure Doncaster will be able to vote due to something like it was conquered by Scotland before the union and was never given back to England and is technically still part of Scotland.

I was talking about the poll in this thread, you may have misunderstood me. People will vote for "I don't care" just for the sake of voting something.

Scottish independence will be a good thing, simply tarnishing the reputation of the rest of the UK ;)

I'm a strong believer in the right of people to live free but from what I understand, the leader of the SNP is a deceptive asshat.

I agree, he is an asshat, and I've met him..

I think you fail to realize the accomplishments Scotland has actually done, and things people use everyday.

Some examples, Bicycles, TV, coloured TV, flush toilet (What would we do without that) Docks (Where they build ships using cranes etc.) the Canal, Refrigerator, Colour photography, the Telephone, the Train, Incandescent light bulb, even sports such as Golf, Rugby sevens, Shinty, Curling Football/Soccer (Although many debate this, to Chinese monks beheading people and playing some football with their head as an act of shame or English making it) and Cycling.

There is more, Medical and forms of heating and many Scientific discoveries and inventions, so saying you would be better off without the Scottish in the first place means you may lose many things, though some may also come up with the idea. Your argument is therefore invalid  8)

I'm pretty sure most of those weren't invented by Scotland.

Then you need to check your history mate, because all of those were. The inventors there all have Scottish sir names, instance TV creator is my direct direct ancestor. If we had long lasting live, he would be at our Christmas gathering, everything I said (Football I am not 100%) above is correct.

I also found this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_inventions_and_discoveries should prove some things, although Wikipedia can be false most of the times, that has the correct names of the inventors and leads to other websites.

Although, I don't think Scotland should have Independence, we would probably crash, so would any other country leaving.
