Forum ranking

Sorry didn't know exactly where to post this.

Having signed up to the forum I was annoyed to see that the forum ranking is done by posts, I for one dislike this. As a forum goer who does not post on a regular basis this will mean that my "rank" will pretty much always stay the same. Rank done by posting merely encourages a form of spamming and does not represent the large proportion of forum users.

The majority of us have been using TW for the last year or so, TW uses a ranking system purely based on time. It works well and that is what I wish was implemented on these forums too.

Opinions?

P.S, bigger profile avatars would be nice too.

Yes to all points, the moving text is incredibly obnoxious as well, might be a bit extreme to remove it, but i really see no practical use for it.

Was chatting about this with Vince, Olaf and Biteme earlier. Personally I don't have access to the broader forum settings, but from what I gathered there isn't an option to use timed rankings with this version of the forum software. Obviously we'll switch to time once we're able to, but for the minute this is the best we've got.

I hope it can be changed as soon as it's possible. I've noticed the spamming as soon as I came on this website. Witch truely annoys me. It even supports spamming.

Useless spam should be put on that silly live chat they've implemented, it's pretty nice actually. Still this blue-white theme they have is a bit much, is there way to change it on my end?

You cannot change it at the moment as the forum theme is still in development.
