According to my references in Echoes of Glory  at most 1-2" up the sleeve but this varies from uniform to uniform and state to state and taking in the preferences of the soldier sewing on the Chevron and his mood at the time. As time goes on any uniform may decrease in quality, our focus is on the Gettysburg campaign and some of the important units throughout the ordeal. The South Carolina Rifles did not all have their issued uniform by June 1863 and it will have a variety of different uniforms with some of its unique ones left,We will keep the signature hat for them as good sturdy hats of the time could last a while. Other units will get a Uniqueness about them in their identity while leaving them with some Uniformity of the Army and State they belong to. This applies to both Union and Confederate alike.

Thank you for your concerns Baktech and We shall concede an adjustment to the stripes as we know that we need the public to enjoy our mod Cosmetically whilst keeping our historical accuracy mostly intact. And thank you for catching our oversight of this matter. Noone knows everything.

You guys still working on the mod? I'm sorry to say this, but N&S is progressing incredibly fast. As much as you guys had wanted to finish this, I'm not sure it'll have a community to compare to N&S. However, don't give up hope... Still finish the mod, I'm sure people will play it.
