Capitaine (Capt) senior level of Commissioned Officer typically has more than a year of experience and service. They command all operations that fall within their regiment. He leads the formation into battle from the front it is his responsibility to make sure that the unit is lead in a manner that always leads to success and doesn't end in death without cause. Its his job to pick fun events, promoting those who he deems deserves it and can do the best work in that position, dealing with outside regiments, making sure that the unit is of a standard discipline, skill and overall quality, making executive decisions and last but not least HE PAYS FOR EVERYTHING.
Lieutenant (Lt) Serve as the chief administrative assistants for a Capitaine and are second in command if the Capt is to ever fall in battle.
Sous Lieutenant (SLt) The SLt oversees all Noncommissioned Officers. He serves as the senior advisor and consultant to the Capitaine.
Adjudant (Adj) Is the senior enlisted advisors to the Commanding Officer. They carry out policies and standards and advise the commander on the performance, training, and conduct of enlisted Horsemen.
Couleur Sergent (CSgt) Carries the company's colors into battle he is second from the front and his job is to protect the colors at all costs and is never to put them down unless told to. He leads the formation to trail his superior officer at a 3 horse length gape, if the officer is shot down he is the immediate leader until another higher ranking officer rides forward from the back and takes command. This is the most respected NCO position because being that he holds the pride of the regiment he is a priority target for enemy rifles.
Trompettiste Sergent (TSgt) Carries a bugle into battle and is the very back of the formation he keeps the rear and plays his trumpet according to orders and does not stop playing in order to provide damage/morale bonus to the Horse Soldiers around him. He may draw his sword if command falls upon him or he is dismounted. If the CSgt were to be dismounted the responsibility of color guard falls upon the TSgt.
Sergent (Sgt) Typically commands a squad (2-4 Cavalier Pairs or 4-8 men). Considered to have the greatest impact on Horse Soldiers because Sgts oversee them in their daily tasks. In short, Sgts set an example and the standard for Cavaliers to look up to.
Corporel (Cpl)The base of the Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) ranks, Cpls serve as team leader of the smallest regiment units. Like Sgts, they are responsible for individual training, discipline and the attendance of the men under him/her typically leads 1-3 Cavalier Pairs (2-6 men)
Cavalier Vétéran (CvlV) The most respected of the Cavaliers, those who receive this rank never disappoint the only reason their feet ever touch the ground is because their horse was shot from under them. Cavaliers are promoted to this level if they show extraordinary dedication and skill put into every charge.
Cavalier Première (CvlP)Can manage other enlisted Horse Soldiers of lower rank. Is generaly the second in command of a squad. Has served a minimum of two months and attended a specific training class to earn this promotion.
Cavalier (Cvl) Cavaliers are promoted to this level after BCT has been completed and he/she has proven themselves on the field of battle. Individual can begin their career in the 2e at this level with experience or prior military training. Carries out orders issued to them to the best of his/her ability this is the most common rank for those in the unit.
Coureur (Cor) Lowest rank: a trainee who’s starting Basic Cavalry Training (BCT). Primary role is to follow the Cavalier's example and carry out orders issued to them to the best of his/her ability.
