Events: EU / 15th/17th Wednesday Line only

Date and Time: 20:00 CEST every Wednesday Server: 17th_Leicestershire The 15th "Yorkshire" Regiment of Foot and the 17th "Leicestershire" Regiment of Foot are hosting a weekly wednesday Line Infantry Only Line Battle. The Line Battle's aims are to be fast paced and enjoyable experiences when playing Line Infantry. The event shall be hosted on the 17th_Leicestershire server which is provided by Arctic Hosting. The Server has 200 slots and shall be utilising a new custom map every event. We feel this would be best for keeping the maps fresh and maximise enjoyment.The event will also have an admin in spectators in order to ensure that rules are enforced efficiently. The event will not have a limit of how many regiments may attend however if we feel the amount of sign ups reaches the 200 player limit, we will suspend sign ups Per line - Minimum 10, Maximum 30 - No Fire in Charge - No Fire out of Line - No Reload in Charge - If your line is less than 4, you must join another. - You may not crouch at any time. - 1 Medic per Line No Officer Aim with the following exceptions: - When the officer is standing in line after forming it up. (Closer than 5 man spacing) - When the officer is standing behind or in front of their line from the perspective of the enemy. - When the officer is charging. English The 15th Yorkshire Regiment was raised by Sir William Clifton in the year 1685, the regiment was named after its founder as was common in the British Military. In 1751, after the numeric system was implemented in the British Army, Sir Clifton's regiment was named 15th Regiment of Foot. 30 years later the regiment was renamed once again to the 15th (the Yorkshire East Riding) Regiment of Foot, or the common version: 15th Yorkshire Regiment. German Das 15th Yorkshire Regiment wurde 1685 von Sir William Clifton gegründet. Wie zu dieser Zeit üblich, wurde das Regiment nach seinem Gründer benannt. 1751, nach der Einführung des numerischen Systems bei der Britischen Infanterie, wurde es in 15th Regiment of Foot umbenannt. 30 Jahre Später bekam es den Namen 15th (The Yorkshire East Riding) Regiment of Foot oder kurz 15th Yorkshire Regiment.

About us The 15th_YR started off in the early days of NW as a German speaking regiment. However, on the 8th of June of 2014 the 15th_YR made the switch into an  International Regiment. From that moment on our regiment has featured a well organized structure with many veterans and experienced players. During the following years the 15th went through quite a successful period under various leaders such as Falk, Connimir and Marley, where multiple tournaments including an NWL and RGL were won by the regiment. In the early summer of 2017 the regiment was disbanded for a brief period. That same year,  on the 5th of December 2017, the regiment was reformed once again. This time with Gi, Melsyo and Moussolini at the helm. In the following years, the regiment has kept growing in both skill and renown, achieving varying levels of success in regimental tournaments such as RGL,NWL, EIC and RGT. Currently, the 15th_YR is the most decorated European regiment to ever exist, achieving 15 gold medals across regimental tournaments ranging from NWL, RGL, RGT to NWBC and the 2v2. The 15th's main objective is to have our members work together as a regiment. Therefore, teamwork, communication, leadership and a general willingness from all our members to listen and learn are key. We further attempt to achieve this by helping newer players develop their own play-style and by teaching them to apply this play-style to our existing members. Being good at melee is not a prerequisite to join the 15th, instead we value loyalty and a positive contribution to the general atmosphere of the regiment. In the 15th everyone's opinion is taken seriously and everyone is treated in a fair way. Over the years, we have created a community within the 15th that plays games outside of NW together and even does the occasional drinking night on discord. Additionally, veterans of the regiment get the chance to participate in tournaments together through the "Snappers" and "Crappers" groupfighting teams.
