Apology/Statement Against Ban: We were 3 people on the server, chatting each round for about a minute before we'd start dueling, (As there was noone else on the server, it wasnt to any harm). We decided to have a fist fight with one of the guys. After the fierce duel had started and lasted for a solid 15 seconds, a forth guy that joined the server came in and destroyed my opponent with a bayonette. I, naturally, in return TKed him before starting to duel the other guy. In the midst of that duel I got banned from the server due to this.

Yes, I understand that my first natural instict to TK the guy wasn't how I should've handled the situation and I am sorry for any harm done to him or her. Never the less a ban is far above that what would be deserved in this case. A slay, fine would've deserved that, but a ban is just not an equal punishment in comparison to the crime done.

The server hasn't died. It has been moved to newer hardware and therefore the ip has changed.

What does this mean?

The server has dropped from your favourites and will need to be readded. There should be less lag spikes every so often.
