 The colors on my version are more vibrant and the details are more emphasized. Also, the blue lacing was fixed.

 Note that the original version had higher level in-game shading on. Some creases and folds in my version will look better with those settings.

 That's a bit more reasonable; some units during the war fought without their camp gear, so it's more just than using a historically inaccurate weapon.

 Actually, if you look closely, you can see the enemy is Austrian Grenadiers. That picture is from the Second Italian War of Independence, which is yet another war under Napoleon III.

EDIT: I was considering making a SIWI mod before deciding on CW. I chose Crimea as all which was involved in SIWI was France, Sardinia, and Austria. A bit less interesting...

 Good idea, but I doubt I'd be making a SIWI mod after CW. Possibly something else, but not SIWI. :-\

You should should replace the chassepot sounds with this mod, defently!
But you should NOT replace the prussian sounds with this mod because they sound like a tiger scratching its' claws against a metal plate.

The french sounds are brilliant though!

I agree, there are no decent (on Youtube) Drysse sounds. Almost all the ones I've found, its a guy shooting from a sitting position with the rifle on a table, when the rifle fires, the recoil shakes the table and makes a terrible thud sound, plus the echo that it causes doesn't help either. The sounds in the mod are the few decent recording I was able to make.

The ideal conditions would be like the Chasspot video; out in an open range or field and not resting the rifle on anything that would cause a sound due to the recoil of the weapon.

Just use the Chassepot sounds for all the guns. They're perfect, and sound far strong than the current weak ones.

I think the guns should have seperate sounds. I'll probably just lower the base on all the chassepot sounds and use them for the dreyse, lower base because inferior slower burning powder it had so it would be less of a crack sound.

In the mod you can play as an Asian and a <snip> but not a blonde, blue eyes guy.
Isn't that wierd since the mod is set in a north european setting?


Please be mindful that rascism whether meant offensively or not is not accepted. You may not have thought that offensive but others may think otherwise.

I care and yes you can see the eye colour.
It's going to be in the next patch whatever you do.

Just any cavalry boot. Maybe the from Prussian cuirassiers (heavy cavalry).

It isn't organised well, use the search feature in Openbrf to look for the individual items.

firstly i added my texture files in the "mmmaterials.brf" and I think there is no difference where these add textures , the main thing that I tie them directly into a folder from this file

Yes you still haven't imported the texture, it can show up in the materials without being imported, if you click on that diffuseA it will lead you know where, you must import the texture.

Hello there,

i made a 'Feldgrau' pack for Prussia
it's not historical accurate but still kinda fancy i would say

it includes one version with just arty and light infantry and another one wich retextures all infantry units and arty units
also i made a fixable Seitengewehr wich replaces the normal Dreyse bayonet (included in both packs).
