Welcome to the second tournament of EGS Season 4 hosted by Voluble & DarkTemplar & Chainsor. This season we return with a similar admin team with new ambitious additions to continue making EGS the best series ever. The format stays the same for the highly successful league 2, only difference this season has is there is no loans available during 5v5s and League 1 has a different format. Same old EGS, same old consistency and media coverage expected!
The tournament will be hosted on Sunday the 13th November at 20:00GMT. There will be a transfer ban for this tournament. The tournament will be played in the standard 6v6 format. Teams will have to fight their way through a groupstage in order to claim victory.

Every team must read the following rules as they are very important and EGS rules are different compared to normal tournaments.
We were kind of disappointed by seeing that even some captains didn't even read the rules. Please, read it all.

Roster Rules - Rosters are capped at 8 people as you are aware. - Players MUST sign up with their community names ONLY. No roleplay names allowed. - Must also use community faces rather than randomized ones OR you face punishment (refer to EGS Rules) - Transfer deadline is set at 5pm (17:00 GMT) the day before every tournament . After that, not a SINGLE change will be allowed. [close]

General Rules - Melee speed will be set on medium. - The only class allowed is the line infantry. - You aren't allowed to spawn if you are not playing. - All matches will be ft7, apart from the Final (ft10). - A good behaviour is expected. Insulting/toxicity will lead to 1 warning then a suspension from matches. - Cheating once will result in a permanent ban of any future EGS tournaments. - ID MUST be provided, if not, players with ID's missing won't be allowed to play. It can result in a temporary ban or even more. [close]

Match Rules - Once a match has been called, each team has ~5 minutes to get ready. - If the first round is not started within ~5 minutes, the responsible team will be punished, as 1 round will be awarded to their opponents. - After each round, each team has ~1 minutes before they must have typed 'r' again. - If the next round is not started within ~1 minutes, the responsible team will be punished, as 1 round will be awarded to their opponents. -The rules above are controlled by the referee - if the referee says ~5 or ~1 minutes is up, then the time is up. -If there is clear delaying in a duel at the end of a round after 2 minutes then a warning to the fight will be given. If the player continues to delay or run from the duel then the admin can slay the player. -In any case of a server crash/map change if it is to happen, then all current rounds WILL be VOIDED. Introduction Spoiler The first 6v6 for this season will be tonight, and after an eventful 5v5 there’s a lot of expectation and now much more added pressure on some teams to prove their mettle. Last 5v5 we saw RT come out the victors, after a desperate tooth and nail fight with Coco Touch, the lack of the cherry of the ‘stack’  in Python may now make this a walk in the park with his appearance tonight. Prediction Spoiler The big four contenders tonight are RT, Snappers, CocoTouch and renegades all of which made it to the semis last tournament. Despite an early victory in groups for snappers last fortnight, they fall short heading into the semis and eventually lost out in the Bronze too, coming into the 6v6 they do have decent depth in their team and the added player in a middle position may prove them a little more deadly, I’d place bets on them getting a bronze tonight. CocoTouch coming into this 6v6 may likely bring in komar to finish off the triple polish threat. Hopefully they’ve got their seatbelts and helmets on in case of another car crash performance such as  in the final round against RT. They will likely need to muscle up some extra vigor to see them through the semis into another final tonight. Renegades are hoping to sink their teeth into a top 2 spot tonight, the 6v6 will prove helpful with a top heavy mid player skill set. The added player should prove most welcome in securing rounds. After dive bombing out of semis last tournament, it’s likely some players in the team are going to need to strengthen their mental fortitude in case of any early round loss streaks which are not unlikely to happen. RT, empowered by the scaly reptile have got another pair of fangs to add to their arsenal. I'd expect them to be having their cake and eating it this tournament, but after such a struggle to overcome the impressive cocotouch I wouldn’t be surprised to see some upsets along the way. Challenging the big four tonight are Crappers who yet again have been making surprising upsets but after their big daddy tucked them into bed last time they’ve got to put on some big boy shoes. 6v6 will add another player potentially weakening their roster. NSS should be more deadly in 6v6, they put up some good fights last time and i’d expect them to potentially make some group stage upsets. Regrouped retirement home are still not to be underestimated, despite lackluster performances from some members last tournament a 6v6 format may allow them more room to improve here. Renaissance CIS power will be looking for a groupstage exit if possible and they have a lot of competition, but having faced them in some pracs recently they’ve been improving a lot and I think in a 6v6 they could do better. Blacknights and kamikaze will both be fighting to not finish last tonight, both teams underperformed and it may be more difficult for both now having to field an extra player. [close]

Players to watch out for Spoiler Python, Bagins, Blitzkrieg, Herishey, Chuckster, janne, Marxeil, Zenon, Troister if all here tonight i’d expect to be the big carries of their respected teams, keep an eye out for some good performances from them! [close]
