Its a bit silly that you post that about litost. Firstly it wasn't a ping problem, it was a server problem. The server was completely unplayable. Me python domi lone and marquez were all experiencing major server side delay, sometimes these delays were more than a full second. Python and Domi were both iceskating around the map and were unable to play properly.
Secondly we left the server after we had proposed everything to the admins, including switching to the other tournament server, switching to a completely independent server, or even simply resetting the one we were playing on. All of this got denied by the hosts because coco didn't agree. Of course coco isn't gonna agree when most of his players weren't experiencing any problems and his team was winning.
As a host this is where you have to step in and have the balls to make the decision that is objectively the best for the tournament as a whole. If one team is experiencing major trouble with a server and another is not, then it does not hurt the other team to reset or switch servers but it does hurt the first team that is experiencing problems to stay on the server. No, it is not more "fair" to stay on the initial server, it is actually the complete opposite of fair to stay on a server where one side can't play properly but the other can.
In the end we had a chat where we decided that it was utterly pointless to continue playing, which is why we left.
