Rules

In drafting these rules, I drew heavily on those made for the 2017 CNC. Nevertheless, there are some important modifications

general rules

§1. Teams will only be composed of players who have the nationality of their team's country/countries.
§1-1 A player can play in only one nation
§2 Every team has to provide the tournament administration with a roster, consisting of 15 to 24 players and their respective Steam IDs & in game GUID before being accepted into the tournament. (me for example : Steam ID & 1677417)
§2-1 if a team is turned away from the tournament, then depending on the reason for the refusal, the captain may be replaced or the nation declared forfeit for the tournament
§3 Teams allowed to welcome a foreign member will only be allowed by the organizers, on the condition that this is the only way for these players to play if he has a link with that nation. For example, Krishna from India can play with the British national team.
§4  The perfect balance will be 12. If a team can put more players on the field, they must get them to play. If a captain is caught failing to bring in certain players in order to favour a reduced number of elite players, the sanction can range from forfeiting the match in favour of the opponents to simply replacing the captain.
§5. If a team doesn't bring enough players, they will play with what they have, but the team they face will still be allowed to have the
decided minimum number of men fighting.
§6. Teams will have to pick one unit between the following: Cuirassier or Hussar and will have to stick to it throughout the competition.
§7. Matches will be 'Best of 10'.
§8. To win a round, a team has to kill everyone in the enemy team.
§9. Picking enemy weapons and horses is allowed, like in a standard 1v1 regimental cavalry fight.
§10. No shooting, no trolling or t-bagging, no insulting, wall-/ stonehugging or glitching.
§11 Spectators are allowed unless one team captain asks to play without.
§12. Listen to the admins and what they say.
§13. Matches' organization will be up to the Captains of the teams which have to face each other every week. They have to post a date and hour,
and then I will give a referee and server to this match.
§13-1if the captains can't agree, I will personally choose the date of their match.
§14You have to play all your matchs on the tournament server. Your opponent is defined in the "challonge" table.
§15. two officers (the Team Captain and the Vice Captain) per team may be on the field, to lead their men. one flag is allowed. the rest of the players must take "ranker"
§16 The round will start automatically. If you need a few seconds just tell the admin.
§17 If the time runs out the team with more living players wins this round.
§17-1 each round lasts a maximum of 40 minutes.
§18. Shooting is strictly forbidden.
§19. Team members and captains alike are asked to remain calm at all time if they are unhappy with any decision a referee or I can make. If they wish to express their discontent they must do it on this FSE thread, and write it politely. No insults or in-game complaints will be accepted.
§20. Players must wear the tags they were signed-up with in their team's roster. They may change things in it, but must keep the original name visible. For example: a player signed as Potato can join the servers with the tag "DeadlyPotato", but not "DeadlyBottle".

these rules are the main ones. For a player, not respecting them means compromising his team but also his place in the competition

administrative rules

§1 Each referee is only answerable to the head admin. No insults against the referees will be tolerated.
§2The referees for each match are chosen by the two captains. If they are unable to reach an agreement, a referee will be appointed for them ex officio.
§3captains must choose a team taking into account all the players of their nation. forming a nation taking into account only its group will not be tolerated and may lead to a replacement of the captain in question.
§3-1 The Head admin reserves the right to force the inclusion of a maximum of three players in a national team if they are capable of playing there, taking into account their record of achievements and experience.
§4 Each selected player must play at least one match.
§5 All matches must be played on the championship map

Tournament Format

§1 Only six nations are invited to play. The following ones: France, Germany, Poland, England, the Benelux countries and Spain.
§2 if players do not belong to these six nations, then they cannot play this competition.
§2-1 exceptions will be made. Players with cultural and language backgrounds but without nationality can still participate.
§2-2 Germanic countries can play together under the German banner.
§2-3 French-speaking Swiss can play with France.
§2-4 indians can play with england
§2-5 an identity check can be carried out with the official papers to verify the identity of the players

§3 Each nation must face each other once during the champioship
§4 Points are awarded as follows; match win - 3 points, match draw - 1 Point, match loss - 0 points.
§5 The ranking is based on points. In the event of a tie in points, a rematch will take place between the first two.

Maturity and Respect

§1 Players should respect both the letter and the spirit of the rules. The responsibility for ensuring that this happens lies not with one individual - it involves captains, players and referees. It is through discipline, control and mutual respect that the Spirit of the Game flourishes and these are the qualities which forge the fellowship and sense of fair play essential to the Game’s ongoing success and survival.
§2 In order to maintain a serious and professional environment players must be respectful and polite towards their opponents. If a player shows a poor attitude and displays rudeness or immaturity he or she will be punished by the tournament administration. The range of punishments reaches from a warning to a ban from of the tournament, depending on the weight of the crime.
§3 Any person that uses, incites or benefits from disruption to the matches, practice sessions or organisation of other teams will face disciplinary action at the adminitrations discretion, up to and including disqualification from the tournament.
§4 Any captain knowingly helping players to bypass sanctions imposed by the administration will be removed from the tournament.

Cheating

§1 It is strictly prohibited to modify the game files or implement modifications, healer mod or autoblock. Every player that is found to have modified files or using game modifications will face disciplinary action at the administrations discretion, up to and including a ban from the tournament.
§2 If a player is found to have broken any of the rules during a match and the admins determine that a significant* advantage was gained, that player's team will forfeit the relevant rounds.

Player Specifications

§1 Each team member may be listed by one name only in the team roster.
§2 Name changes during the tournament are forbidden.
§3 Any Steam ID listed to a player in a team roster must be unique to that player. Using a Steam ID that has been used by any other player at any point is forbidden.
§4 Each player may use only one Steam ID for the tournament.
§5 Any player from a non Steam platform must contact the admins when signing up.
