I am sad to announce that the Trench Battle event is going to go on HIATUS due to depopulation.

My plans for the future are to host one last 'FINALE' event, to give trench battle a send off.

I'm going to edit two maps and add a CONQUEST mode, most likely Stalingrad (no boats/tunnels) and the Gas Attack map. I'm hoping this incentivises some of you former sign ups to return for one last charge!

The date for doing this is not yet confirmed (will be on a Thursday), I will start talking to you guys individually about sign ups once I have made the conquest mode changes to the maps.

On a personal note I would like to thank all of you guys for coming. I have hosted this event for almost 5 years and although I would be happy to continue hosting as long as current players still enjoy it, I believe that closing the event like this a better ending than the alternative.

Additionally, If anyone could provide guidance on how the 'entry points' work for setting up conquest flags, that would be greatly appreciated. - Matues

The date set for the Trench Battle Finale Event (Trench Conquest) is Thursday 8th December.

I will likely make this a 'public' event and suspend RIC/Rambo rules.

The 'Gas Attack' Map, and 'Stalingrad (Closer Spawns)' have been editted for the conquest mode.

hi all, I'm starting to organise the trench 'battle' finale custom event. (on Thurs 8th Dec)

two maps have been converted to conquest mode, there will be no password to allow public players to join (trying to enforce rules on conquest events is not fun anyway)

FIC, RIC and Rambo rules are suspended

arty reg's will still be given priority over the cannons etc..
