Is there any rule on getting sword players? Can any team take any sword player from native for example or would they have to be active in NW for a certain time12. Sword players don't have to be specified during sign up and may be exchanged in-between rounds.

Yep, MAYBE in a smaller format such as 2v2 with 1 bayo/1 sword, a non-NW playing native pro could make a difference but definitely not in a format this big. Can confirm that swords are far worse than bayonets in these types of tournaments, so I think having Native players would ultimately be detrimental anyways as they'd have little idea how NW works and since swords wont be as dominant as bayonets, they'd just get clapped. So just allow em

I've updated some of the rules that weren't properly applied to this tournament, and added some necessary ones.Good thinking mate!
The most important thing to note, however, is that I've chosen Austria and Prussia as the officers of the first units of those nations have identical swords, and have very distinguishable colors(white and blue). French officers have more sabre-like swords, which could prove to be a slight (dis)advantage. Meanwhile, the UK 33rd officer has a very similar straight sword to Austria/Prussia, but the sword models still aren't exactly identical.

Yeah, I reckon it might've been changed to all be the same at around the same time the infantry muskets were all set to be the same lengthPretty much, you save yourself the burden of having to explain it every five minutes. I think maybe the Renegades/Tz0 match-up just happened to be disadvantageous for Tz0, because at least for us Tz0 was the hardest match (though maybe we were slightly less focused than in the semis vs RT).
