A l'instar du thread sur la partie anglophone, je prends l'initiative de le faire pour la partie française. Cela nous permettra de faciliter la recherche de régiment pour les nouveaux comme les anciens membres, le contact inter-régiment et de nous éloigner des forums de jvc.

Composition d'une Brigade, d'une Division et d'une Armée :
Conformément à ce qui a été établit par la communauté, les règles sont :
- Brigade : composée d'au moins 2 régiments.
- Division : composée d'au moins 2 brigades.
- Armée : Composée d'au moins 2 Divisions et/ou 4 Brigades. Au total une armée doit être composée d'au moins 8 régiments.

Pour "valider" chaque étape, vous devez seulement avoir le nombre requis de régiment. Vous êtes libre de composer vos Brigades, Divisions, Armées comme vous le souhaitez.

75e Régiment D'infanterie de Ligne
"Arrive et bat l’ennemi"

The 75e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne is a french regiment based in Europe. The 75e was born from the disband of the LI. Composed of the former line of Munster ,the Connacht skirmisher regiment and part of the artillery of Dublin, we still have the same values that we carry on the battlefield: Respect, Discipline, Serious.
Respect your opponent, respect your brothers in arms, and the same respect will be returned.

In addition to the line, we have a Skirmisher Company and an Artillery Company wich helps the progression of the infantry on the ground.
In Game, We call ourselves by Historical names of people who were actually in the 75e.

75e’s History

First known as the “regiment de Monsieur”, than, by the name of “regiment de Provence”, it’s the January the 1st of 1791 that the 75e Régiment d’infanterie is created. His first affectation was “l’armée du Rhin” in 1793 who will play a part against the Prussians and the Austrians. The 75e was a part of several divisions of the “armée du Rhin” which allowed it to participate to several battles and skirmishes. The 75e managed to get famous by the tenacity of the Captain Duhamel during a skirmish at Gendertheim. We also see the 75e at Wissembourg where He’s opposed to the Austrians, killing 300 enemies and make 500 prisoners for 80 killed and 150 injured. Than we do find him under a different name: the 75e demi-brigade d’infanterie de bataille in 1793 due to the February 24th law (of the same year). In 1796, it will change again to be the 75e demi-brigade de ligne who will become famous during the Italian campaign. We can notice the April the 8th of 1796, the heroic fight of the 75e grenadier captain, Gruardet, with 45 of is men against 200 Austrians in a quickly made entrenchment. It will march on Montenotte, than to Dégo, will participate to the battle of Pizzighetonne and the Mincio’s crossing, but it’s at the battle of Caldiero than the 75e is of a major importance. Indeed, Schurbitz attacked from rear Massena (due to climate) and forced it to make retreat. So Bonaparte send the 75e who was in reserve, this one contained the victorious enemy from 3pm till the night, alone despite the huge amount of enemy and the intense cannonade. And that is thanks to this brave resistance that the French army managed to reconstitute in Verone. It is how Napoleon in order to thanks the 75e of his heroism and bravery decided to give this modo: “Le 75e arrive et bat l’ennemi”  (“The 75e comes and beat the enemy”.)

We’ll meet again the 75e at the battle of Arcole and Rivoli where they make lots of prisoners helped by the 18e Légère, despite their inferiority. 75e’s last fight of the Italian campaign was at Tarvis during the night of the March 23rd and 24th. The 75e will also take part to the Egyptian campaign where they took Malta and Alexandria; it also fought at the battle of the Pyramids. Not long after it will be under Kléber’s command in 1799. The 75e demi-brigade leaves Egypt the September 20th of 1801. And it’s finally in 1803 that the 75e becomes the “75e regiment d’infanterie de ligne” in the IVe Corps. The 75e is at the battle of Austerlitz with the Saint-Hilaire division where they overcome the enemy. Then comes the 1806-1807 campain with the battle of Iena where the 75e, still part of the IV Corps, plays an important part in the victory. We notice that the 75e is in every campaign but the Russian one. Indeed it will fight during the Spanish campaign, was part of the Portugal’s army in 1810, and Spain in 1813 to finally be part of the French campaign in 1814 in the Armée des Pyrénées where the 75e will fight at the battle of Orthez and Toulouse. Last participation of the 75e is during “Les Cents Jours” in the Teste division of the VIe Corps. The 75e was not at Waterloo because they were under Grouchy’s command. The last battle of the 75e was defending Namur when two grenadier companies of the 75e hold back a violent offensive of the enemy at the iron gate which caught the attention of Teste. That’s why after many campaigns and battles we can find on the 75e regiment d’infanterie de ligne’s flag: “Caldiéro, Héliopolis, Austerlitz, Iéna.”

At the battle of Rezonville, the lieutenant Degoutin, commander of the “3e Compagnie of the 1er bataillon” , just recommended to his men, in case they would be wounded, to call all their forces to dominate their pain in order to keep calm in the troops. Just after that, the soldier Sévenier, received a shell splinter which broke his arm. He did not complain, got back his cartridges, went to see is Lieutenant and said:
“My lieutenant, I’m losing all my blood, what should I do?”
He gave to his company already well-tried by the fire, a good example of resolution and resignation. Like any 75e member should do.

Our code of conduct

General Rules: -> Became a member of the 75e will imply a regular utilisation of forum and Teamspeak. -> Every 75e's Recrue are considered as in test time, Officers is in right to stop this test time, in favor or disfavor of this Recrue. -> In case of long absence time ( a week at least ), warn your Officers in the right Forum's topic. -> Cases of inactive members will be study by Compagnies' Officers, after a meeting, punishment sould be a simple warning or a permanent Kick.

Behavior: -> Our values are respect, discipline and serious, respect your ennemies, respect your brothers in arms, and the same respect will be returned. -> When you have the 75e Regiment's Tag, you are representing the 75e's values in front of the community, keep it in mind. -> Every intentionnal attack on one of your comrades in linebattle or outside will be punish. -> Every insults on one of your comrades in linebattle or outside will be punish. -> If you have any problems with any members of 75e, inform an Officer who is able to solve it.

Rules during the LB: -> Respect your Officers, strictly follow the orders. -> Never interrupting an Officer in commands. -> The Commanding chaine is functionning with Ranks, never brook it with out have a directly order from an Officer. -> Look after the great look of the formation, our regiment must stay disciplinated. -> Flag and musicians are named by the commanding Officer. -> During a LB, always stay in spec when the commanding Officer doesn't nammed the regiment you must take.
