Well, considering the era it'll mostly be naval battles.

Also, I'd think giving some of the Barbary Pirates bows would be good also.

As Clearly said,these wars were more focused on naval battles. We want to try to make naval battles events, like how line battles are events. We will try to make naval battles more organized in this mod, but you'll have to wait and see!  ;)

Since It is near impossible to be able to make Big ships movable, why not have a siege like game mode for Docks.

Eg, Pirates wants some nice booty, they spwn on a big ship they start artilleryizing the place and the defenders fight with more artilleryizing then the pirates land and they fight. BUT is it possible to have muiltple checkpoints? much like ROME 2 siege concept ???
a port will save a mans life, a rifle will only keep it safe

We are thinking on that, but with a 3 man team, we are usually working on the mod in our free time instead of thinking of new stuff. When we actually sit down and start thinking we will take the into consideration. My opinion is that bows is a probability, but I don't know yet.

It would be more historically accurate if the defenders (Ex:Sweden or US) to be attacking and the Barbary armies to be defending.
We don't want to turn this into a "generic" pirate mod for NW, we want to keep it historically accurate in most places.
