The 27y Izmaylovsky Regiment was one of the oldest regiments of the Russian Army, a subdivision of the 1st Guards Infantry Division of the Russian Imperial Guard. Formed in Moscow in September of 1730, the regiment was tasked with protecting Moscow and it's inhabitants. It fought in every major war the Russian Empire was in, being credited as an elite and ruthless force capable of turning the odds against the enemy. Imperial family members served as chiefs of the regiment, giving it a royal status and special attention in battle, often tasked with protecting Russian generals from the enemy forces. Trained in elite melee and shooting skills, this regiment was the best of the best in the Russian Army.
Today, the regiment is headed by Tacticalretreat, a 3 year veteran of the Napoleonic wars and an effective commander. The regiment is currently looking for mature, disciplined, skilled people with a good sense of humor. We consider ourselves an elite regiment, and want our infantrymen to uphold this in battle.
