Dear Cavalry Community,
as many of you noticed last year, Stephan and i prepared a comeback for the Cavalry Pickup Parties during October and brought it back for one evening in December. It was the day before Christmas and it feeled like some kind of last meeting of the Community in 2020.
I personally enjoyed this evening and hope it was the same for you. Sadly, Stephan decided to leave the Community, abandoning the whole project of the Cavalry Pickup Parties without Main Host. Experiencing the current shrinkage of our kind, i wanted to revive this Event (for longer than one month) and give something to the Community instead of just participating in all those great tournaments.
Since this would be the first time for me hosting something, i need a lot of help. That's why i am searching for competent and willing guys to assist me. Of course there is a need for Co-Hosts and Administrators, but another thing is more important: Stephan was providing both ingame and TeamSpeak Servers for the Event and it is undeniable that we need those. I have absolutely no idea of how to rent and maintain Servers, how to set them up and all those things. So if the Cavalry Pickup Parties shall be revived, we totally need someone with knowledge and realization potential right there.
If you want to help me out in any way and make the Cavalry Pickup Parties great again, feel free to contact me here. Of course you can also message me when you have any ideas for improvement of this project. And don't be afraid, i am not planning to leave the Community soon, so if all of this works and we manage to set this up again, it shall be for a while.

The process of a 'Pickup Party'
1. A steam announcement is made to gather people. Join our TS from this moment on. You can of course ask some friends to take part as well.
2. Around 15 mins later, two volunteer captains are picked and they fight one duel to choose who‘s first at picking the remaining players.
3. Picking goes on until everyone is assigned to a team. After this the first round begins. From this moment onwards we will no longer allow people to join.
4. Both Teams fight the match untill there is one winner.
Thank you Knightmare for the Header. I don't know you but Stephan wrote it. Thank you Thyrell for the Sub-Headers. Thank you Stephan for letting me copy + paste this Thread.
