EU Events, a little later?
« on: February 22, 2013, 12:42:04 am »
I wanted to ask, if there was any possibility that EU servers do host their events later on the day. I mean, at 7pm GMT, its kinda soon, at least for me (GMT+0). I got practice at the exact time... therefore i need to join a NA regiment in order to play at midnight!!

What if we hosted at 10pm? People that come late from jobs, even kids can play at that hour. Sometimes ppl cant join, cause at 7pm they got dinner :/

Im just suggesting, in order so everyone can enjoy the Multiplayer :D

I'd like the general time to be moved up an hour, because that usually is around dinner time and I hate reheating food/putting eating on hold.

Yea i know.. like, 9:30pm. Thats a reasonable time for ppl to eat, rest, and get ready to play :s

I'd be happy with moving to about 8.

Most NA events I attend are at 8, it's just a sound time.

I mean I don't really see a problem moving it up an hour, the average line battle only lasts an hour and twenty minutes max.

It was a real pain for me, and in the end I just missed 2-3 rounds of every event because I would just leave to eat :P

But if you move it up an hour then those on the continent have the same problem, and if you put it later those in GMT +2 have to stay up even later.

Take note that quite some people who don't life in the UK, will have their event at 21:00 till 22:00 - 22:30, a lot of people still have to go to school. So they go to bed earlier.

20:00 is fine. It's sad for the people who eat at 19:00 in the UK, but a I could just be right if I say that the majority doesn't have any problem with the current times, and have it rather then an hour later. (From the other time-zone).

If it's really such a problem then just eat earlier?

+1 you have to consider that not everyone is British and many people live in areas where 7 GMT could be 8 or 9 for them (staying up until 11 pm and ending 1 am ain't good   :-\  )
