Yeah most likely, but AC arent really known for keeping their games EXTREMELY accurate, most of the time its within a general timeline. If you think AC2 for example, some things in that were over 100 years too early (I remember watching a video about it a long time ago)

Unity was one of the shittiest AC's I've ever played. I wish they took it somewhere Asia or Oceania. Like China, Japan, Indonesia. Or they could follow the movie and do some Spanish inquisition. But again in this time period of ancient greeks and romans. Uhh.

I have played tons of AC games, tons of times when I was a kid until now. Probably have 1000 hours on each of em. If it's on sale I'll maybe buy it but I'm not so sure about this game to be honest.

I just hope they make it more unforgiving than origins because it was really easy to dodge opponents even those with a skull above their heads. Just takes a lot of time to kill em. Would be pretty funny to see a Spartan in their underwear and a Corinthian helmet with assassination options.

You clearly have no idea on how Sparta was in Ancient Greece do you?

Almost all Spartan Women were given military training and were reservists mostly used in the defense of Sparta if the main Army was fighting elsewhere.

and its completely true to Assassins Creed lore. The order did not discriminate between the sexes and were older than Sparta anyway.

If you don't want to play as a female in AC then don't. You can choose at the character customization screen. They even say in the reveal that they just wanted the game to be more RPG like than any other AC game. With Dialogue options etc. so why not have a woman option.

My point was what you said: "A feminine in ancient sparta?" - Makes it sound like you don't agree with there being women in this period which is perfectly true to the history.

P.S My first line makes me sound like a feminazi, I really don't care I just wanted to correct you on it.

This just became a regular RPG with too much of those fantasy aspects in it. It looks good, story is probably well invented, but that's then also the only thing s that I could say positive about this game. With that being said, that the story would be well written, I guess they could have taken the gameplay and overall feeling in a way more better direction in which they did now. I have played it at a friend's house, and I just couldn't enjoy myself. Shame which direction they went in. But that's just my personal opinion. I'm just waiting for those two remasters that are coming out in March.

They did probably have spies and all that in those armies, but you can't make an assassin out of a freakin spartan warrior. That's just a thing I find ridiculous. If they just have put another title rather than Assassins Creed above it and actually made it a greek mythology story sort of thing, I think it would've been better as you don't expect to really be an assassin itself.

But, I'm happy for you if you enjoy it. Everyone's got their own opinion.

The combat on both land and water is smooth, travel is easy, the dialogue options are a good hange from the old ACs. Yeah, it’s not “assassin-y” as per the overall image but it’s a good game

They should have just called it Odyssey and made it a separate game. The background plot of the Templars is mostly stale but the game itself and the story taking place inside the animus is fucking superb.

100% agree. Haven't played Odyssey (little free time these days due to kids) and probably never will. Would really like an RPG for Ancient Rome without any of the animus bs.
