Somebody please host an 1v1 event

I can name at least 6 regiments that can reach 15+ consistently. K-KA, 15thYR, 91st, 3pp, Nr2 & 13thRS. I also imagine 17thJR will reach this soon too, I was under the impression 23rd could most of the time and also there are regiments like 18th or 47e who have a high chance of reaching this soon.

I think you are bit out of time Herishey, since Nr2 is disbanded for a long time. 45e, 2eFusGre, 17thJR and even still 96y can reach 15. Also don't forget about turks, they've got like 2 regs which can bring 15 as well.

Although I think a 10v10 tourney for the regiments outside of the strongest bunch wouldn't be a terrible idea

Smaller format doesn't necessarily always mean more competitiveness. However, its worth mentioning 10vs10 format (edit: for groupfighting) favors lines-up functioning on a small core and not necessarily capable to rely on many sub players and give them more chance to upset the top regiments.

The larger the format, the better regiments like 15thYR, K-KA, 91st will be because they have a larger competitive player base and therefore are arguably capable to field more skilled players if the numbers increase.

Nothing really new under the sun.


Edit: Either way, when it comes down to 1vs1 LB, I would love to see another EIC/NWL format once the Napoleons Cup is other. I've missed casting/watching this and it goes without saying Syrcrim and I would be thrilled to cover such a competition on a regular basis.

A 15vs15 1vs1 is way better for the Tier 2 or Tier 3 regiments as they can also win some rounds with good shooting. But in a 10vs10 the chances are lower for that. Maybe do a minimum of 12. Thats the Middle

I think at the end of the day in the groupfighting format the better regiments will always in basically unless it is as low as say like 5v5 where the smaller regiments may then have a better chance. So realistically if you want it to be fair a 1v1 league gives them more of a chance.
