Competitive EU Events/Tournaments / Re: | NWBC | Season 3 | Finals
« on: October 30, 2019, 08:49:02 pm »
Jeeez missed the “final”, what a shit show! Was a great tournament and by far is the most fun I’ve ever had in any competitive NW tournament due to the shear scale and the idea behind it. If a admin did fuck up with the rule of minimum numbers and if non-combatant players did pick weapons up or bait, then it should be classed as a draw/ both win. Can’t do the other team dirty like that... If the roles was reversed u can be damn sure I’m shouting at Mitchell and Wolfe to leave cus it’s BS. Yes it’s fucked up if we have 30 spec or something but rules are rules and adding in non-combatants is stupid and there is no way before or after you can justify it or control it so I’d say overrule it to a draw/both win. Both teams had hard and intense routes and for it to end like that without a intense final is anti climatic and BS. Do the right thing Kincaid  ~Dead computer 2nd CR Cpt Volubad xx

The question is: why did you play if the balance was broken?

Now, do your rematch if someone is still interested in the tournament. Whoever wins, I don't care.

Good luck finding a date and hopefully the next game will make everyone happy.

They didn't play properly that was the point. Kincaid has a new baby and thus couldn't attend. Krytenn was busy too which meant the two most senior admins couldn't attend. Furthermore, George (first time admining) tried last minute to admin, he tried his best but ultimately didnt know the rules. There was no seasoned admins available.

The whole final was a mess from what I've heard. Kincaid has apologised and acknowledged the failures...

I mean this is the only time 19th will become relevant in any type of comp event. Also he is just b8ing you Wolffe!
I know (which makes it worse)
I just wish we could let things in the past between the 92nd and the 19th.

We only dislike Vegi and one of your NCOs who was rude to us and the 1stEB, Polar or something his name was. Kieran told Archibald this when they spoke a week ago or so.

That comment was setup to bait Vegi actually, not you or the other members of your team. Then again nobody really likes Vegi that's why he gets warned constantly :dab:.

(Side note we only lost 1 match as well)

Literally just made a FSE forumn account for this.

Presidente, leave my vegi alone. Don't be a nonce. Literally no need to post this on a forumn that looks like something I made in 08-no offence-for a 10 year old game, got nothing better to do in your time? Coming on here dissing my reg and frens and then acting all high and mighty giving it "I'm smart everyone else dumb" etc etc. Doesn't really work pal.

Reminder for everyone complaining it's only a game, a 10 year old one at that. Maybe go for a walk or a cold shower, how about going to your room and visiting a site that ends in hub and having 10-15 minutes of you time and come back to us. If you lost, its not fun is it? But, its not something to get worked up about. The games a decade old, and is winding down, maybe spend the time enjoying playing with friends not complaining about one final that didn't go to plan.

^-^

[Cool signature showing I'm in the 92nd]

What a boring bastard. You just made an account to tell people to be "more productive" by doing the least productive thing possible.

Again, there should be a rematch or both sides given the win. -20 balance and a complete breakdown of admining being the main problems. Both sides agreed it was a mess. The admin agreed and so did the head admin? So the solution is a rematch.

The 59th and 77y gave so much to this community. The 59th approaching its 7th year and the 77y 9th year in NW. We deserved something better then this shit fess.

The NR4, 59th, 77y formed a coalition named 'The old Guards' because we wanted to end the game on a high. This has been the exact opposite. I have been involved with all three NWBCs and winner of the second season and this final has ruined the competition and its memory.

I couldn't make it tonight because it took so long to organise (two months) and previous dates were cancelled (British military officer training calls) Yet we played in good faith.

Myself having been involved in all three NWBCs and winner of the second NWBC am disgusted by the news coming out of this final game.

Three competition's and years of good admining washed down the drain.

Thanks to the 77y, NR4 and the 59th under Krytenn and Wookie. I am sorry I couldn't participate in this last game. You boys were clearly robbed. There should be a rematch at the very least.

Of course Kincaid is busy with his latest and new baby. How ever we can all agree this match was admined poorly by all reports.

After 6 years of continuous events and activity in NW and Holdfast, the 59th Line Company is disbanding. Me and Krytenn believe the time is now to end our competitive side though the 59th Light Company remains. Sadly there are too few good events, and not enough regiments, who themselves struggle with attendance. Our large community remains on discord and we will continue being a fantastic community and clan. If you enjoy playing 30 people EU4 or CK2 games feel free to check us out. We play Squad, Total Wars, H04 and many other multiplayer games.

I personally along with the veteran 59th Officer of Line will join our great heroes and retire indefinitely. I along with Gaz am the last Officer leading in 2013 to still be leading in 2019, so you can imagine the years of griding has taken its toll, and I have met many great friends along the way. Reaching the final of the EIC was a recent milestone. Good luck to the communities that we leave behind, NWRP and Jailbreak. I joined the 33rd back in August 2013 and made the start of the community in October of 2013 and I felt our community has grown up together. I will personally uninstall the game and won't appear on FSE again so add me on steam for anything. Thanks to my main boy 59th Col Krytenn and the other Officers.

The 59th Light Company is over 6 years old and will continue to be a great company. So check them out if anyone is interested.

Good luck to everyone, the 59th will finish the NWBC final, and the 59th Light Company will continue into the 7th year, good luck everyone hope to see you all in Bannerlord, if not GL.

Few slots open

Personally I believe this game is finished and not worth hosting another one. After starting off with the 59th and NW in 2013, it's sad to see the game has lost its spark. If anyone wants to host it add me on steam.

Rip 88th. NR91 added to reserve! The final of the NWBC is coming soon and we can get this show on the road.
