Borodino, its a battle very close to my heart. I stood in the centre of the French line as a roundshot tore sweet Rnady al Jafaar in two. Me and Donyel12 would have routed right there and then but the prophet appeared to us and we bayonetted thousands of Russian scum in revenge for our fallen brother. The poles put up a pretty good fight, my friend Milosh Kurwalski will gib you more deets if need be. At no time in history has their been an army as gifted in memers as was the grande armee in 1812. If only we had more mountain dew and naan breads we could have held Moscow, AND THEN ONTO BRUSSELS! (all information was sourced from the wikipedia page for North and South a series of novels by Luke Dutchy Holland.)

Just don't...

Trust a coward who didnt fight with us at Borodino to nay say, begone you cis scum. Only real loyal troops to L'Empereur are wanted here you Bourbon scum.

Narva, Fraustadt, Grodno and Breitenfeld. These battles reminds me of how great my country used to be before the liberals & socialists came.

Battle of Vienna 1683 one of the many times Poland saved Europe from barbarian invasion.
Spoiler
[close]
Jan III Sobieski led the charge of 3,000 Polish heavy lancers, the famed "Winged Hussars"
Afterwards Sobieski paraphrased Julius Caesar's famous quotation (Veni, vidi, vici) by saying "Veni, vidi, Deus vicit"--"I came, I saw, God conquered".

Absolutely based man.

If u like this u should read about the battle of hodów in 1694The first encounter took place on the fields near Hodów. The Polish cavalry charged the 700-strong Tatar vanguard and made them withdraw. Shortly afterwards Polish forces retreated to Hodów village due to overwhelming enemy numbers, and proceeded to fortify themselves using heavy wooden fences left there from earlier Tatar invasions. For the next 6 hours Polish troops resisted relentless Tatar attacks. Even after the Polish ran out of bullets, they continued to fire at the enemy, using Tatar arrows as improvised ammunition for their guns.
Unable to defeat the Poles, Tatars sent Polish-speaking Lipka Tatars to convince the Polish troops to surrender. When the Polish commander refused, the Tatars withdrew to Kamieniec Podolski and gave up on the entire invasion, having gained nearly nothing despite large troop numbers.

Numbers : 400 - Poles vs 40 000 - tatars
Casualties : Poles -less than 100 ; Tatars - 1000-2000
"Russia and Prussia, especially, tried to suppress both Polish culture and language and the Catholic faith. In response, the Poles developed one of the most intense and self-sacrificing versions of Romantic nationalism ever seen in Europe. "- Neal Ascherson

The Battle of Bosworth Field is one of my favorites. I also really like how Richard Holmes covered it in his War Walks Episode.

The Croatian War of Independence was fought from 1991 to 1995 between Croat forces loyal to the government of Croatia—which had declared independence from the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY)—and the Serb-controlled Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) and local Serb forces, with the JNA ending its combat operations in Croatia by 1992. In Croatia, the war is primarily referred to as the "Homeland War" (Domovinski rat) and also as the "Greater-Serbian Aggression" (Velikosrpska agresija). In Serbian sources, "War in Croatia" (Rat u Hrvatskoj) and "War in Krajina" (Rat u Krajini) are used
