Introduction to the 43rd (Monmouthshire) Regiment of Foot
« on: April 21, 2013, 11:36:14 am »
The 43rd (Monmouthshire) Regiment of Foot is a new Light Infantry Regiment for Mount and Blade: Warband Napoleonic Wars. As a Light Infantry Regiment we should be able to perform the tasks of normal Line Infantry and Light Infantry. The Regiment is divided into the First Battalion and the Second Battalion. The Second Battalion is for normal members and the First Battalion is made up of the elite of the Regiment, handpicked by Commanders and Commissioned Officers. Once the regiment gets 5-10 recruits/members Training sessions will begin, which can include Public Sieges, Private Dueling, Deathmatches and Commander Battles (for Officers). Once the Regiment gets 30 or more members Events will be scheduled with other Regiment Leaders. However if the Regiment performs poorly in a previous Event or Training session (such as with a lack of discipline, e.g. running around wildly in a Line Battle), Events may be cancelled until the Regiment is ready to fight again. Once recruits have passed the Application process they will be invited to the Steam Group. On rare occasions people will be asked to join the Steam Regiment before joining on this site, but this will only happen in exceptional circumstances. The Steam group will have the same announcements, discussions and scheduled events, but all the main polls, forum threads and events will be displayed on this site. Teamspeak 3 WILL be required for members as (like in other Regiments) it provides a good way of Communication between squad members in an Event or in Training sessions. If the Commanding Officer is shot, then he can advise the next highest ranker on what to do next via Teamspeak 3. If normal members join but become inactive for 1-2 months and is noticed, then an Officer may demote them (Possibly back to recruit). THIS REGIMENT IS ON THE REGIMENTS LIST. Ranks/structure, Historical discussions and issues will be on seperate threads.
 That's all for now.
