Information    The Royal Scottish Lowlander regiment, or RSL for short, is a lesser known historical reg founded on the 22nd of July 2018.  Though the regiment itself can be traced to a month back, this is when the regiment officially formed as an independent entity under a new name, instead of a regiment in a brigade.  Led by Captain Stryker, many of the original members from 2018 have come back to support the regiment, with the comedic duo consisting of Vlad and ACBH refreshed on the game.  With new faces here and there, this is a fresh chance for the RSL to be whatever its members want it to be.      With a respectable attendance for a 2019 regiment, this new RSL is on the rise.  Near the end of the old RSL’s lifespan, the regiment took on a more competitive focus that started to overshadow many of the casual events.  Things have changed now, as Captain Stryker has mandated that the regiment will NOT do competitive unless members of the regiment ask for it.  With three casual events and a swap off between a training/inter reg and the Sunday siege, there is plenty of opportunity for ass-kicking.  At the moment, there are still open postings for non commissioned officers, so any enlisted man still has the chance to prove himself in leadership, discipline, and brotherhood.    On December 4th of 2021, Captain Stryker decided he wanted to bring the RSL for round three. Hoping to utilize the experience gained from the North American community as well as the experiences in the 92nd 55th 45thN and Nr13, Stryker's mission is to bring about a regiment that allows newer players AND high ping north American players to compete competitive European matches. Through brotherhood and friendship, we hope this final iteration of the RSL brings about something legendary.    The regiment was raised as the Scottish Lowlanders (Highland Volunteers) on 17 August 1793 at Fort William from among the members of the Clan Highlanders by Sir Alan Cameron of Erracht.  It amalgamated with the Seaforth Highlanders (Ross-shire Buffs, The Duke of Albany's) to form the Queen's Own Highlanders in 1961.
