lebrave just posted something dumb cause it's lebrave, of course FrenchTouch or any teams from 2016 wouldn't be a high-favorite with thoses new-gen top-tier team, let's imagine the game was still as active as it was in 2020 but now it's 2027 and everyone of Amaterasu/Envy have retired i don't think we would be able to compete with thoses new gens from 2027 lol. It's like comparing pelé and ronaldo, pointless to compare those teams like that. We have to compare them based on what they accomplished on their era, and in that case FrenchTouch is indeed the best team of all-time, pointless to compare them skill-wise.
Also i think it's dumb that you two are arguing about which one of you is the most cancerous and refuse to play the game, because i think you're wrong, you're exactly doing what the game allow you to do, and in that case you're both playing the game, you're playing like the engine allow you to, and if the engine allow you to do something, then the engine is to blame, not the guy using it. I'm personally not a fan of limiting one freedom with some rules that will prevent him to do what the engine allow him to, i had many discussions about thoses "anti-cancering rules" for duel tournament in the past with Anthony, we have never agreed on this honestly haha.
I think ExTaZz reacted the best about HiReaper, he understood where he came from, he maybe saw himself in him and congratulated him for winning against him and didn't feel his legacy as a duelist threaten by a loss in a tournament next to his many others victories lol, i think Drake should do the same, there's a part of me who wanted to see that rematch, i really do think Drake/ExtaZz weren't ready for the kind of knowledge/anti-meta strat HiReaper would bring to the table, now that they are aware i would love to see how it would go, but hey it's up to HiReaper, winning one duel tournament will not make you the best duelist of all-time but it'll make you the best duelist of the moment which HiReaper is, and if he's content with that then that's fine, he don't owe anyone a rematch
Let's not also forget that we new-gens are just products of the 2016/2017/2018 meta, we took everything and learn from them and basically pushed thoses GF mechanics such as ranging, dodging, even further, so i don't think this level of disrespect towards Drake or just old gen French top players some new-gens seems to have is fair lol.
now please stop this non-sense, Drake is the guy who trained me and to some extent influenced my playstyle, most of the thing i have taught to Reaper mostly come for Drake way of thinking, drake/anthony were the needle and we are the thread reaps, so the last thing i want to see is you both disrespecting each other
