Regiments / 23rd (Royal Welsh Fusiliers) Regiment of Foot *Standby*

Formed in 1689 as a means to counter an immediate threat of war with the French, the 23rd Regiment of Foot (Royal Welch fusiliers) joined the ranks of the Prince of Wales’ division of the British Army. From its formation, the Royal Welch Fusiliers served with distinction among many campaigns of His Majesty’s Britannic Army, including the Seven Years War, American War of Independence, and most importantly the Napoleonic Wars, particularly in the Battle of Waterloo, in which they participated as members of the 4th Brigade, suffering 12 casualties. They also participated in several of the battles in the Iberian (Peninsular) Campaign fighting in locations such as Salamanca and Badajoz.

The Royal Welch Fusiliers as they are known today, remain one of the oldest serving regiments in British Military History. They have served in all of Britain’s conflicts after having been created in 1689. There regimental March is Men of Harlech and is commanded by Major-General Brian Peter Plummer. The regiment has received a total of 14 Victoria Crosses, the highest military honour a serving member can be granted in the British or her Commonwealth countries and continues to serve in various roles around the world

If needed, what your relationship was to the offense in question.: I did nothing to provoke the teamkilling. I was the victim of said teamkill.
