Figured since it came out about an hour ago, (US anyway, dunno about EU) and it looks amazing figured it deserved a thread of it's own.

What exactly is Far Cry about/what kind of game is it?

I think it's a scenario where your trapped on a Island and attacked or on Vaction and you get attacked, a FPS i believe ,something like that  Odysseus.
Also would you reccmond it on a Consle or PC Wind, I've been thinking of getting it if its on sale.

Console if your PC isn't up to snuff.

Apparently I can't hear voices during cutscenes on mine, or any primary voices, so I just have to use subtitles.

Got it a few days ago, sunk some time into the single player/ liberating island and I'm having a blast.

Got it now, great game, won't give any spoilers but a good PC is essential to play it on good graphics, that way it looks beautiful

The story was very nice, I'm excited to free roam with endgame equipment now.

An epic game yes just finished my full second play through. Going full silenced and being max tats at the 2nd part of the main missions

Awesome game, I most definitely recommend it. Furthermore, on PS3 the graphics are pretty good but on Xbox they are rather disappointing, so if you have an Xbox is play it on of, considering you can change the graphics there and get the right balance between looks and gameplay

Its great! I love the bow gameplay, it's almost better than games that where designed for bows. The only thing is that the bow needs to be nerfed, it is a 1 shot kill.
