Heavy mg (eg mgo8) should be regiments who signed up for that like arty should exist but I think regiments should be able to apply for a sharpshooter or a mg gunner as why shouldn't each regiment be allowed one maybe more depending on numbers maybe to get another one once u reach a certain milestone like 20 or something after all it will only add to the atmosphere of someone charging if 3 regiments fire at them with 3 mg it will be better then just 1 or maybe non if the regiment with the MG is else where.

Well the British had around 1 light machine gun (Lewis Machinegun) per 30 men if it was that for lmgs the hmgs would need loads of guys.maybe 1 Lmg per 15 guys and 1hmg per 20

Around this time in the war the ratio was about 3:2 for HMGs vs LMGs. By 1918 it was about 1:1.

So a stocked event would have 3 HMGs and 2 LMGs per side. I'm sure you can do the math as to how that's spread out depending on number of players.

Was the ratio really that high? I am genuinely surprised. I would've expected there to be far more LMGs.

The LMGs were relatively new inventions and they're competing versus battlefield implements that had been in full production for years on end.

Tbh, it'd be cool if there was a merge between siege and battle, where each side would get 5 lives. It'd a good simulation for "Just another day in the trenches"

Essentially battle with lives. Would be a cool idea, but I think that's beyond the limits of the Warband engine. Q_Q

Wut? That is easily doable.
I mean... We made conquest all by ourselves. So you can see, there is quite alot you can do.

I would prefer conquest over attrition, in conquest you have to move and capture points while attrition you just sit and snipe. However, I would love to play attrition if they made... WWI RP

I think some events should be battle no all but some as having 1 life means u have to be careful and also i don't think it will be come a stalemate regiments will charge and arty will help move people out of there trenches if they figure out the range of a cretin line of as regiments are not going to sit in there bit of trench and just allow the enemy to shell them i know that will be a slow process because of the zigzag nature of trench lines but it will spur people on. evidence that people will charge is looking at things like BI and NaS both there guns are quite accurate admittedly no MG but regiments still charge on them there nothing to stop them just sitting behind a wall and firing yet they still charge.

Perhaps having even teams and having them take turns to charge enemy trenches would be fair.
