 He "ditched" because RM was attending, so he wanted to volunteer for us, but instead decided on which regiment to join. He ended with RM, and that will be that.

Exactly. It was a trial period, and most regiments regard it as such until the member reaches private, I'm sorry I offended you, but I fail to see the issue.

 They play at times and don't play at times, typical semi-active players. If they can attend, they attend. We do a lot of unscheduled stuff, like playing around, especially in Anglo-Zulu War, which they sometimes play with us.

Just wondering, if you guys are marines, then why is the highest rank "Admiral of the Fleet"? if Im not mistaken, thats only for the sailors. Brigade Generals were in-charge of the marines

On each ship you would have a 'squad' of marines and they were led by the admiral of that ship.

The reason is that Admiral sounds way cooler then Major General =P
