I don't even have Dota! q_q :(

But anyway, they should have rather give a full 75% on Shogun 2 for everyone lol. I'm not really seeing the point in this action.  :P

It's a market tactic. Besides making the game 75% off, they gave out coupons for the so it's 75% off. More people will buy the game with coupons. It works like that with everything else as well, it's a "psychological" thing.
