Introduction

     Quantrill's Raiders is a former North & South Confederate cavalry regiment created April 21st, 2016. Operating in the Dixieland Army we were originally in Braggs Brigade, before switching to Picketts Brigade in July of 2016, then rejoining Braggs Brigade in January of 2017. We have decided to switch to Napoleonic Wars February 10th 2018, but we're committed to keeping our beloved name, and the history attached to it. We are a casual regiment, which means we do not require members to follow a strict schedule and offer minimal formal training. We pride ourselves in a mercenary-like atmosphere of various skill levels, and different personalities. Everyone's at home in Quantrill's Raiders.

     No two events are ever the same in the QR- there are days when we're infantry, seemingly as cannonball magnets, and there are days where we ride together to victory on horseback. We've experienced many victories and defeats alike, but always look forward to the next event.



Your place in Quantrill's Raiders

     While we are fairly confident to not hold the title as one of the greatest regiments out there, we are proud to have a strong community which has stuck together and played together since 2016. We simply aim to enjoy our time while playing and build a stronger community of cavalry and infantry lovers. While we certainly cannot promise you flawless victory after flawless victory, we can promise you a place to call home.

The QR was founded by KermitTheFrog/Nero on April 21st, 2016 and officially joined the Dixieland Army. Since then, recruitment has been underway and we reached a milestone of 10 members 6 days after founding. More recently, we have been assigned to Braggs Brigade in the Dixieland Army, and we hope to become more engaged in the NaS community in the weeks to come. We look forward to playing with you!

The QR was founded by KermitTheFrog/Nero on April 21st, 2016 and officially joined the Dixieland Army.

Originally in Braggs Brigade, the QR switched to Picketts Brigade after a brief period of inactivity in July of 2016, then rejoined Braggs Brigade in January of 2017.

The QR has been expanding ever since its founding in April of 2016, and currently has 50+ active members on it's roster, bringing anywhere from 10-20 per event. Currently it is undergoing a major rank reform to reshape the way events are scheduled and attended by two types of members. More information is soon to come.
