What was happening when you got banned:
Not quite sure, Thunderstormer banned me for impersonation and when I questioned him about it I was told to make this unban request by Mr. Tiki; I have since deduced that he was likely referring to me saying something along the lines of "[[tags]Wotbad] I am bad"
The whole ban request was kind of bizarre, the report was based on the fact that I asked the opposing team to kill some player that was delaying, a player (Fizzbane) actually killed Sfly (the delayer) but for some reason I was banned for impersonation, weird; I think it's a bit odd that I was banned for what amounts to trolling when there's evidence of Fizzbane teamkilling. https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=20130.0In real life, impersonation is completely legal for purposes of satire- especially if the impersonation is obviously fake and there is no malicious attempt to steal someone's identity. Pretending to be George W. Bush on T.V. is fine, utilizing another's identity to defame or frame them is the crime. I was by no means making a serious attempt assume Wotjek's identity so as to defame his character, get him banned, etc. If I were to have the tags "Thernderstermer" banning me for impersonation would be an irrational application of the rules- trolling would be the appropriate charge for such an offense. Saying something along the lines of "[JohamBads] Lol I am a fag" wouldn't be a valid reason to ban someone for impersonation, that's not really why the rule is there (I don't see that as a logical application of the rule, it's trolling not a real go at impersonation).
Essentially, banning me for impersonation is to misconstrue why real laws against impersonation actually exist. If you're banning me for trolling, fine, but it's a bit hypocritical considering the population of trolls on NA_1. Wotjek himself has said things like "rekt" and "ez" when he's killed me, and it's perfectly fine with me for him to do so. I understand that this is a private server and you can apply your interpretation of restrictions against impersonation and trolling however you see fit, but the application of the rule at hand (impersonation) is inconsistent with the application and purpose of similar laws in the real world. What's really happening is I'm being banned for trolling under the guise of impersonation to make my offense seem more severe and not on the same plane of offensiveness as what a vast swath of NA_1 players say on a regular basis- basically I'm being singled out due to either my less than cherished presence on NA_1 or Wotjek's influence.
