Welcome to Moraine and Midnight's Sunday Siege and possible Half Linebattle! The thread is still a Work In Progress and everything below will be subject to change. Check back frequently for rule updates!

General Siege Rules

Must be in the TS by 7:30-7:45 EST.
Defenders may not leave the fort. If the fort has an exterior extension, the administrator of the event reserves the right to determine what is and what is not considered outside of the fort.
Defenders may not deliberately open the exterior gate of a fort or any gate that has enemies dwelling outside of it. This is seen as griefing and will be punished accordingly.
Attackers MUST move out in lines of 3 or more when leaving the attacker spawn. If members in that line of 3 are killed on the way to the fort, you can continue moving forward.
Absolutely no TNT is allowed for attackers or defenders.

Spoiler Firing on the charge is not allowed. Minimum of 3 to be a line. Light Infantry is not considered as line but Foot Guards are. No Spacing is allowed. No Crouching during combat is allowed. No Reloading out of Line is allowed. No Firing out of Line is allowed. [close]

Spoiler Max of 15 total for this unit is allowed. May Fire on the Charge. Reloading during the charge is not allowed. Max of 5 man spacing is allowed. Muskets, Rifles, and Carbines are the weapons allowed for this unit. May crouch whenever and take cover. [close]

Spoiler Max of 12 total for this unit. Only Two cannons allowed. One Sapper allowed, but spamming the defenses is not allowed. Artillery Guards are mostly expected to go Foot Guards. Artillery Guards may have up to 5 man spacing near an Active cannon. [close]

Spoiler Max of 15 total for this unit. If 3 or less are left mounted, they must dismount and join a friendly line unless are still in the charge. If Ranged Cavalry unit is selected, may only fire in a lined up formation. Ranged units may not Fire on the Charge or on the move. Cavalry must operate as a group, no straying or ramboing towards different units. [close]

It was a very interesting experiment with the maps.

Fort Wilhelm was fine. All that needs fixing is the outside spawn.

Fort Spandau was not very plausible as apparently no one knows how to use artillery effectively. This has been taken into consideration for next week.

Again as a reminder. No TNT at all. Use the proper specialty format or you may be skipped over.
