As others have said, it has been proven that there is already a 2e Grenadiers regiment currently in existence. Under long-standing community guidelines, you must indeed find another regimental identity unless you are based in a different, and should you be, obtain permission from the original holder to use it in parallel, during which you must verify that neither regiment will use the same servers or attend the same events.

If none of these factors apply to you, then unfortunately you will have to find another regimental identity to use.

I admired this attempt to reconcile by Betty, but unfortunately he/she keeps forgetting that he/she violates forum ban/unban policy whenever she creates another dupe. So...

Lol, it happened twice, didn't it? Anytime you're dehorsed, you're welcome to stop by. :D

Yes, please try not to make multi-posts. Either use the Modify button, or get some other people to post in your thread to avoid it. :)

This has gone far enough. The blatant hostility in this thread is exactly why political threads became almost taboo in the first place. When this thread is reopened, keep your lids on, or mutes will be falling, and this thread will be locked for good.

Thank you for apologizing, but please make sure you do not post here or do anything to antagonize the members of this regiment in the future.

I am slightly confused on what kind of thread this is supposed to be. Could you explain, Caylor?

To everyone else: refrain from making any more pointless posts, please.

People, if you make banter, be very sure you make it very clear that you are joking, so threads don't turn sour.

Complimentary good luck. :)

Regiments / Re: 41st Royal Welsh Rifles (Invalids) [Recruiting EU]

Turanafon, Michael Sparks does indeed hold the identity of the 41st. There are long-standing community guidelines that shape how those who play this game go about using regimental identities. The group that proves that they formed their group under a certain identity before anyone else effectively owns that identity. There can be no two regiments that are active at the same time that hold the same regiment identity (i.e. 41st) unless:

- The two groups are based in different timezones.
- The original owner gives permission to the latter claimant.
- Should the latter claimant gain access, that group must make sure that they participate in different events and if possible different servers in general than the original holder.

This ensures that misconceptions do not arise, as impersonation and defamation are taken seriously in this community. I can see that you are EU, Turanafon, so if the 41st owned by Michael Sparks is based in any other timezone you can try to negotiate concurrent usage (if it is possible, I urge both groups to agree). If not, then unfortunately you will have to find a new regiment identity.

As a side note, please try to keep all further discussion on this matter off the forums, or at least to Private Messages. Above all, I don't want to see rule-breaking, and posting in the public eye might encourage that. Thanks in advance.

As the moderation has been stating for the past two years(ish) there are in all technicalities no user "rights" on this forum. There are only the rules which the users are obligated to follow upon signing up for their account and any extra privileges given to users by the owners of the site, which may be taken away upon breaking said forum rules. Every user is obligated to know this, so should any user break any rules in any way deemed unacceptable or inexcusable by the forum rules and/or moderation that user is effectively surrendering the privileges given to them by the site owners, starting with but not limited to access of the site itself.
