Regiments / 1er Batallón Real de Artillería Española - 1rBRAE

El 2 de mayo de 1710, el Rey Felipe V promulga la Real Ordenanza que, en su artículo 9º, crea el Regimiento de Real Artillería de España.
Organizado inicialmente por tres Batallones, el primero es destinado al Ejército de Aragón, con cabecera en Valencia, para guardar las plazas de ese Reino y las de Cataluña, Valencia, Navarra y Guipúzcoa.
Este Batallón de Artillería es el que da origen al actual Regimiento de Artillería de Costa nº 4, cuya primera denominación fue la de "1er Batallón del Regimiento de Real Artillería de España”, y su antigüedad, como queda dicho, de 2 de mayo de 1710.

By decree of October 27, 1808 was organized in Seville horse brigade, the oldest sections of artillery with the name of "Brigada Maniobrera"
And March 13, 1811 became part of two companies on horseback "The third squad" which by royal decree of May 31, 1828 became part of the Third Department of artillery "Seville"

By royal order of July 27, 1835 this squadron step to form the third brigade department campaign composing it with 3 batteries mounted and one on horseback.These departments abolished by royal order of September 8, 1841 Third Brigade took by order of 26 October on behalf of Third Brigade, and by royal order of May 11, 1859 the Third Regiment assembled. The December 26, 1884 took the name of Second divisional.
And later by Royal Decree of December 16, 1891, the Seventh mounted.
