This is by far the mostly poor display of hosting I've ever seen in the absence of Church.
Jorge, you have ruined this linebattle for us, and I'm sure for many more to come.
2. Artillery is allowed a max of 10 players 2 loaders, 2 train's, 1 spotter, 1 Sappers (if wanted) and 4 guards.
3. Guards may play as infantry unit including skirmishers.
Story time:
The 1stNOG had arranged to be Line Infantry on the 13th. However, we came to a nasty surprise.
The rules clearly state that arty must have a max of 10 players. We had close to 25.
Once in the pre-battle training, they had announced (without our consent) that we would be artillery.
We protested, but sucked it up and went artillery with 25 people. It was hard to manage.
Jorge (perhaps blind?) clearly saw we had more than 10. Besides this exception of a rule, we continued to follow the rules.
We had 1 sapper, and two standard cannons. The rest were skirmishers, which was accepted.
I believe it was round 2 of the 1st map (a medium for 120 players?), the NOG was successfully the last regiment standing, and we won. The 1stBrun began whining about unfairness. It was fair, by rule standards. The teams were even.
I guess Jorge is bias, but it was after these complaints we were ordered to reduce our cannons size to 1 cannon, and 10 artyguards max. So, let me ask. What were we to do with the 10+ that could not be artyG, or artillery?
It was listen and kick my own members out of the LB, or leave. We left.
The 1stNOG will not tell its own members to leave an event.
Soon after, we were banned from the event.
Jorge, you may disagree, but it is a popular note in my regiment that you are bias. You are a bad admin, and you are by no means fit to lead an event.
I respectfully discourage any new regiments to ever join this event. You will be contained under rules prone to change and bias.
A very unsatisfied ex-attendee,
IDF.
Let me begin by saying, that, when you signed up for the linebattle, you agreed to the rules, and that it is a common known fact that if you have too many for a unit, you are to have the rest go line. Onto your numbers, yes, you had more than 25, and Jorge more than likely made the assumption that you had your regiment next to your guard, which is in fact allowed. However, not only did you have too many guard, but, with the guard subtracted from the equation, you
still had too many people for a regiment playing skirmisher.
Onto you bringing up Jorge's bias. The administrator is there to enforce rules so that the game can be fun. You having two cannons, with 23 guards, while the opposition had one cannon, with three - five guards is not fun for not only the opposing artillery, but also not the opposing team. If Jorge was biased, as you say he is, then he would have had to have been on the opposing team, and have lost to you, and then it would have been a biased decision. However, this was not the case, Jorge was on your team, and he was trying to make it an enjoyable linebattle for everyone by having you mach their artillery number, which is an entirely reasonable request. Then, you had more guards than most line regiments had people there, so, Jorge asked you to remove some of your men from the artillery guard, which is also a reasonable request. As
literally anyone who has been to a linebattle would know, if you have too many men for a specialist unit, you simply make another line. Instead of choosing the logical option, you went ahead and opted in for team killing the majority of your team, and then rage quitting. I do indeed hope you actually choose to think next time before posting on someone's event thread, and discouraging people to join the event due to your own damned incompetence.
