Technical Support / sound cuts out halfway through playing the game

So for whatever reason my sound cuts out while playing NW sometimes after like 20-30 minutes of playing, which is obviously really annoying. I can hear everything else on my computer like youtube teamspeak etc while playing NW, but I can't hear NW itself. I also check my audio mixer on my computer and mount and blade isnt even there when the sound cuts out, so I guess my computer thinks it isn't running anymore soundwise? Thanks in advance if you can help me with this
