Lol no of course not. Unless by major accident. It is clear the superpowers don't want a war. You can see this because the U.S. and Russia are still talking to each other quite often, still make deals.
Look at what happened when Turkey shot down thaty Russian fighter jet? Sure Russia was mad fucking pissed but it was obvious both countries did everything possible to prevent escalation.
Russia ceased the IFF deals they had with the coalition above Syria, which means that, like at the beginning, accidents could potentially occur where they'd shoot each other's jets. What was the coalition's response? Stop flying altogether, at least for a couple days.
No. If there is a major war, it won't be between superpowers. Or it will, if one of the countries makes an unexpected backlash or makes a huge mistake. But, in the short term (say, 20 years), the chances are slim.
