MAKE NW MELEE 2012-2016 AGAIN (VOTE)

For those of you who believe the melee mechs are worse than they were before, this is a short discussion.

Long time ago, a few alive NW developers decided to fix and polish the NW melee by adding lots of fixes in 2018. However, those fixes made nw melee even more cancer by stabbing a person making them glance 70% of the time. A lot of people are asking for the reverted patch of nw since most of them don't like what most of the developers tweaked in blocking, attacking, and hitboxes. It is reasonable to ask those of you in wanting to revert this current patch from now to 2012 or another.

I believe its the time to revert back to the old patch to bring those good melee days back until bannerlord releases anytime soon(2022). Hopefully, some of the developers can do that favor for those in the request for a change in the NW melee mechs.

Update*: I decided to change it to 2015 since the patch is probably updated and has a few bugs but better than the current patch.

although i do love how fast the up attack is, i wish we could keep it that speed

the last time I talked to the dev of NW, even though I was very courteous and respectful, he was still disrespectful and told me  "go f*** yourself"  and refused to read my 12 page manifesto on how the 2013 patch will bring happiness and joy to NW.

I doubt it'll happen now and it's better than it was when this patch was first released as they did make a few improvements. But I definitely prefered 2015-16 melee.

I personally don't believe it actually matters anymore, the game is old, not many people play it as back in the day and we are pretty much just waiting on BCoF to release. Im sure they can always use the input from this thread to help shape BCoF, but as far as ive heard they don't want a direct copy of NW. I wouldn't object to it either changing or staying the same.

But then again, I don't like melee anyway Much prefer shooting and running away #LightInfantryMasterRace
